The music I typically enjoy is not good for working out, but something that gets me pumped and going hard is the Black Eyed Peas. I'm not a huge fan, but can tolerate the music.
There's just something about them that get's you working hard though!
There's a thread like this going on in the exercise forum, but I'll repost my (partial!) list here too.

I like your songs, I like to listen to 98.5, 97.5, and 94.1, those are all good stations to work out to.
I listen to Rehab (the band, not the song by Amy Winehouse or Rihanna), Lady GaGa, Rihanna, and then assorted popular R&B stuff as I work out. I really like Rehab and Lady GaGa the best, though.
i'm a hard rock and metalhead (American metal, not so much european metal that gets into "black" metal or "death" metal) but music is the #1 motivator for me! I was a ballet dancer all through High School, and then in college, I didnt take ballet anymore and so i picked up running. I HATED running, but I needed to workout somehow right? Now I've been running for about 3 years, and I actually kind of like it, but I could NEVER do it without my ipod.
Some of the songs on my workout list (good for getting pumped up, stoked, and even little angry) are:
"Two Weeks" by All That Remains
"Prayer" & "Just Stop"by Disturbed
"Fractured" by Taproot
"Blur", "Get Back" & "Now or Never" by Zebrahead
"A Certain Shade of Green" by Incubus
"Sticks n' Stones" by Jamie T
"A Little Piece of Heaven" & "Almost Easy" by Avenged Sevenfold
"Closer to the Edge" by 30 Seconds to Mars
"Shoulda Known Better" & "F.I.G.H.T" by Unwritten Law
"Eryn Smith" by the Matches
"Whatever" by Godsmack
"Wait and Bleed" by Slipknot
mine is a totally insane mixture! haha.. this is seriously my most recent mix for working out..
airplanes - b.o.b with hayley williams
starstruck- lady gaga
ray of light - madonna
rude boy - rhianna
tik tok -ke$ha
elevator love letter - stars
i gotta feelin - black eyed peas
piece of me - britney
liszomania - phoenix
one way or another - blondie
I think Ridin' Solo by Jason Derulo is super upbeat and when I get on the elliptical and put that song on I just go to town. So, throw that on your playlist!
OMG, that is absolutely one of my favorite songs!!! I have it set as my ringtone right now.
And these....

Totally agree...love that song!!! Took me forever, though, to figure out what he was saying (obviously I didn't know the song title). For the longest time I was going "he's not a cholo???" or "he's not a troll-o???" or "something solo???" LOL
