fiber is Bulk. It makes your food weigh more and therefore gravity wise fall out faster. It is not for everyone. It wasn't for me. I was taking colace everyday maximum dosage and after a year it stopped working and went to miralax which is a life saver. it adds water to your food and gets it out. thank goodness for it! But for the past 3 weeks I haven't needed it due to I think.. pineapple??? which has digestive enzymes so...
even my doctor said fiber can make constipation WORSE and she said you can TRY but it could very well make it worse which it did. That "bulk" will tear you up. It's called anal fissures and they are absolute ****! So don't push or force it out whatever you do.. go get a suppository or something. That makes you go in seconds. (glycerin)
