Dude, 50K is still a LOT to be proud of. You pushed yourself. Give the 100K another attempt later.

Would make you a cheeseburger but too far away. I did make gorgonzola cheese fries last night.

Thank you ladies

I found a place that delivered cheeseburger subs. I don't feel like I'm dying anymore. Well, I do from the waist down, but that will heal in time.

Everlasting - I'm from the LP. If you point to the very middle of your palm & go one finger over to the left, that's where I'm at. Haha. Gotta love showing people where you live on your hand!

HaleyisLove- I love it here. It is cold in the winter...but there are colder states than this one! The summers are nice and warm, but not overbearingly hot. It's a nice mix of everything here. Though it's pretty unpredictable!

My day started out in a yummy, but sinful way. My little brothers came to visit last night and this morning they went to Bigby. They got me a Carmel Big Chill. Soooo good, but soooo sinful. They were nice enough to think of me and get it for me, I couldn't resist it!

I can walk!! Slowly but surely.

My body is pockets if hurt - my legs, my lower back, shoulders and upper arms. Next time, NO PACK. I really just needed water and some granola bars.

I finally thought to take advil around 7 last night, and then I just laid in bed watching dirty dancing until I fell asleep. I woke up at 2 (6 hours of sleep) put my air conditioning on and went back to sleep. Now I'm just hydrating, because I need it, and waiting for places to open so I can try and get a massage.

You're absolutely awesome for doing 50K..I don't think I'd ever be able to do that! You totally earned that cheeseburger sub and the massage! Take a nice hot bath too, my mom always yells at me to do that when I'm really sore from something.

I took a 2 hour bath with Epsom salt yesterday. It did help, but I think I need a good rub down

Stella - Wooaahhh 50K, you are awesome girl!

Sorry I've been MIA for a while guys, I've had a crazy few weeks! I had to watch my cousins' kids from Thursday to Monday (a teething 1 year old and a 5 year old) and I had limited internet access, which was used for homework when I had the chance.

Kinda fell off the wagon again - I lived on kids meals and crap when I was away and when I got back there was a lot of junk in the house. So I was mad because I had ALMOST made it through April without a binge :C I'm going to focus on that again in May, as well as strength training.

I missed you guys!

Icon, what's even crazier is that I wanted to do 100K. Boo iTunes. I know some of the older stuff just isn't available on there.

Also, IcyHot HURTS.

Stella- you're a beast... I'm giving my beast title to you

Jazzy-I'm jealous of your kickball

I went to the gym on a Sunday...thats like breaking the law in my books however I missed my gym session yesterday because I spent the weekend at the boys house... we had a really nice time and I got to know his family a bit more... I adore his mom she is seriously such an awesome lady... I ate really well all weekend and have a new love for hummus... mom had me eating all kinds of fresh veggies and fruits and greek yogurt... um in their house the only junk food type thing is weight watchers ice cream... I want to be adopted lol

I hope you guys all had a fabulous weekend... love you all

Haley - Most definitely! I was reading this month's issue of Fitness magazine and they have a 4 week bikini-body plan that I'm going to follow for this month because it sounds like a really tasty meal plan and the workouts look awesome. And omg, I wish my boyfriend's house was like that! I love hummus and greek yogurt! His house has so much junk food :C

I kicked my butt today. I did the Mission Two of my tae bo dvds - HOLY CRAP. Intense circuit training!

And TOM water weight is on its way out, so that's making me happy

Haley - Thanks

I'm so trying again next year. I might make that goal to just do the 50K and the 100K after, but I'm definately going to do it

Um, wow... So there's no way in heck I'm going to catch up on 3 weeks of chat, so I'll just say congrats to all of you who are on track and hugs to those of you who have been dealing with challenges and tough stuff.

Oh, except for a shout out to the MI girls. Haley - which law school are you thinking about? I did my undergrad at U of M (and grew up in the A2 area), so if that's the one, feel free to send any questions about the school/area/etc. And whoever made the comment about showing where you live on your hand - I can't tell you how much I miss that after moving to WI

As for me, the last few weeks have been really focused on readjusting my priorities. I'm busy beyond belief - the wedding is getting closer way too quickly, plus my day job has been picking up while I'm trying to finish this huge business project (150,000 total words on IRA rollovers... kill me now...) - so I've been trying to figure out how to balance everything and what I can let slide.

One thing I've noticed, though - the way I feel throughout the day if I exercise in the morning and eat well is leaps and bounds better than if I'm bad. I'm more focused, I have more energy - and that's so much more important to me than what the scale says. So for now, I'm going to focus on living better and worry about numbers later.

Ugh... back to work for me!
