Are there any other ballroom dancers here? I started taking lessons and so far I have covered the waltz, foxtrot, swing, and rumba. Guess what? I love it!!!
I always thought dancing was for really skinny people, well it isn't and it is a great workout!
I want to take lessons so badly but my husband won't take them with me. I also don't think my feet could take the heels at this weight. But I think when I get down some more on my weight I might give it a whirl. I think I would like the Latin dances more.

There's a dance studio a half a mile down the road from our apartment, but my sweetie said no because we can't afford the expense Probably just as well, because if I signed up for one of their all-access monthly passes I'd probably go every day to get my money's worth, overdo it and burn out after a few weeks
I took Ballroom dance classes when i was in 6th grade. It was so awful! Sweaty hands and horny boys...that's all i remember! I would love to try it again some day....only with a more mature crowd!
