I have to agree with spikedpunch on that one. 1200 is WAY to low for me, though it may not be for others. If I eat less than 1800 a day, I binge in the middle of the night without fail. As long as I DO get that 1800, plus LOTS of exercise, I lose 2-5 pounds a week.

Sometimes it is better to ignore what the doctor says (mine said 1600) and figure out what your body needs yourself.

I use fitday to log my calories..I usually fall somewhere between 1100 and 1300 a day. Taco Tuesdays are my one "cheat" day where I eat at max 1700. I balance this with at least 30 mins of HIIT a day and Im also on alli...Im already loving the changes in how I feel and look.

So my hubby has the ipod touch and downloaded the app loseit for me. That calculated around 1500 for me. I'm gonna try that for a few weeks and tweek if need be. How many calories does it take to lose a pound?
