The Biggest Motivator of All
Usually, if I don't see quick results, I get frustrated with a diet. I've been on this diet almost a month, and I don't see any improvement. It's frustrating for sure, but this time around, I'm not going to drastically cut my calories. I'm not gong to freak out and decide it's better to just hold onto those few pounds.
Why?
The reason I gained this weight is because I got pregnant. I didn't realize I was pregnant (Yep, it is possible), and I carried on with unhealthy habits. I lost the baby.
That's all the motivation I need. I will eat correctly, even if it takes me a year to lose the 40 pounds I put on. That way, when the weight is off and my habits are healthy, I can try for another baby. And I'll do everything right this time around. That's my motivation. As hard as it might be to keep going sometimes when the weight just isn't budging, I just remind myself of why I'm doing this.
