Great thread! I love perfume and wear it every day. I'm old, so I guess I still like my classics, LOL! I need to experiment with some new scents.

I am going perfume shopping this weekend while I'm in NYC, because I need a new and delicious (ahahaha) perfume. I'm more of a 'find one and wear it till I hate it' kind of girl, so hopefully something will call to me! But ones I've worn and still like are:
1. Miss Dior Cherie, actually I love this perfume but I don't wear it too much anymore. I think I od'ed on it. But when in doubt, MDC it is!
2. Marc Jacobs Daisy, I'm not the biggest fan anymore. It smells too musty on me, on my friends it smells better. I don't know why.
3. DKNY Delicious, the first perfume I ever bought. I felt so grown up. It smells nice, at least I remember it smelling nice. I haven't smelt it in agesss.
4. Chanel CoCo, much more of a 'night out' perfume. I like it better than the CoCo Mademoiselle version, at least on me.
I'm thinking of getting one by Jean Paul Gautier. But I'm not sure. I'm seeing a long afternoon in Sephora in my future!
I am on a very low budget, but I had a bit of extra cash last April and decided to treat myself to some real perfume instead of the cheap but decent body sprays I wear most often. I smelled a bunch of them, and decided on Calvin Klein Eternity Summer, which was on sale for $60 for the 100 ml. It is the best perfume I have ever smelled, the ONLY one I own, and it mixes with my chemistry in a very nice way. I save it for special occasions, as I don't know when I will ever be able to afford a new one.
Calvin K. -- CK1
Adidas -- Moves
Victoria's S. -- Very Sexy for Her
Victoria's S. -- Body
Body Shop -- Oceania (discontinued! Booo...)
Estee Lauder -- Pleasures
I have a bottle of the pheromone perfume too and that's pretty cool.
...I honestly didn't know people still wore perfume.
well if you ever walk into any department store, or into sephora, or through any mall, or through the beauty section of target or walmart, you will see that there is a large market for perfume.
