As far as I know Snicker bars are not considered diet food. Find a plan you can follow. Some popular ones are Weight watchers, Atkins , South Beach and many others, I found that calorie counting works best for me. Reliable, flexiblle and best of all FREE !

My heart goes out to you. BUT, have you seen your ticker? You've lost 20 lbs! That is a HUGE ACCOMPLISHMENT that a snicker bar cannot wipe out.

Please focus on all the hard work you have accomplished. Drink a lot of water and eat clean the rest of the day.

You can do this because you already have done this.

I'll bet that most of us here have gone through the same feelings of despair when it comes to poor food choices.

Then, reflect back and ask yourself why you really had that snicker's bar. Is it because you didn't have anything else? Is it because you wanted something sweet? Maybe next time, you could make a healthy smoothie? Think about how that snickers bar made you feel. Focus on what you could do next time instead. Finally, take all the junk out of your home and replace it with health food options.

Be good to yourself and treat yourself the way you would treat a good friend. We usually put ourselves lats on the list and we bash ourselves for our mistakes, rather than treating ourselves with the kindness we deserve. You deserve some kindness.

I hope you feel better soon.

You need to DECIDE! You CAN get off the couch....you CAN toss the snickers in the trash....You CAN start today to a new and better you!

Look at you already, you lost 20 pounds? Don't you feel good about it? I am sure you do! You don't want those nasty pounds to creep back up on you do you? No of course not!

Give yourself a mini mini goal...something you can accomplish now. Make it easy....you CAN walk around the block, around the house, up and down the stairs...just 5 - 10 minutes. Then give yourself a big ol pat on the back...you did it!

Then make another mini mini goal....you get the idea.

A wise 3fc friend told me to "fake it till you make it"....that was the best advice I have ever gotten. I needed the quick WOOHOO I did it when I started.

Crzymom for the win!

Give yourself a small goal that you can accomplish. Like... you're going to go ONE DAY without eating anything garbagey. Just one. When you get the mad Snickers craving, you say, "I get to eat it tomorrow." Usually... I feel so good about accomplishing my one little goal, that I'm able to muster the motivation to get started again. Plus, the less sugar I have, the less I crave it. After I go a day or two without any, the craving tends to lessen a bit...

Woman, we've seen what you can do. And we know you can do it again. We ALL know how good that Snicker bar tastes. Until 5 minutes later when you feel sick and guilty. We.. and YOU.. know that what feels a whole lot better is no Snickers at all. And a few lb drop in the scale. You can do it. I know you can. And we're all here with ya!

Honey, I have a few things to say...

1) setting goals but not taking action...: Don't disregard the effort you put into losing 20lbs. That's a MASSIVE accomplishment and you should be proud of yourself. Ok so your next goal hasn't been accomplished YET, but you can start now!!

2)snickers bar for breakfast...: I don't believe in diet foor/non-diet food... food is food. Now, if the Snickers fulfills you and works with your calorie intake or whatever plan you're on then NO PROBLEM. But if not, maybe you need to find something more fulfilling to eat that works with your plan?

3)cant get off the couch... : You don't NEED to get off the couch, to get your goals.. it will speed it all up but if you feel like eating and exercising is too much all at once then do it one at a time.

4)frustrated...scared... : The only thing you should be scared of is your potential success You might end up passing out when you see how amazing you look and feel at goal! lol

5)alone...: You're never alone when you're on 3fc, trust me there's always someone reading, someone who cares and someone who's got something to say!

Woah, thanks ladies for coming to my rescue. I guess i should have given a little more backstory but i was in a pretty low place a few hours ago. without going to deep into it, im going through a lot right now (non-weightloss/health related) and am bordering on the brink of depression, and we all know how depression tends to manifest itself. i went there, but just for a little while. i took a drive, thought things through, and re-evaluated the situation, which still is pretty ****ty by the way, but its all about the way i look at it and as you all said, the decisions i choose to make. thank you all for your loving support.

btw, I didnt eat the whole snickers! took one bite with every intention of polishing it off but couldnt do it. opted for a bowl or cheerios and low fat yogurt instead. whew!

thanks again! bargoo, lucky, crzymom, jel and soul, you are my heroes.

Calisa --

You got yourself out of it. That is SO admirable and takes a LOT of strength. Not to mention you've already lost 20 lbs -- you're doing great!!

I'm so sorry to hear about life troubles. Just know that the healthier your BODY is as you're dealing with all of this, the better you MIND will be able to process, stay positive, and continue on.

And as someone else said...there is ALWAYS someone on 3FC to help you :-)
