Well, I weighed in at 145.8 this morning which is a big milestone for me. That was my original goal weight when I started all those pounds ago, lol. It's amazing that I'm here!

HOWEVER! I had the WORST binge today I've had since I started in October. It was a big event at work and there was catering and treats and stuff all over. Lots of cookies, couple of brownies, chips....ugh. Depressing. But ya know? I think I can live with a day like this happening once or twice a year. I used to eat like this all the time and not think a thing of it. I can handle an "oops" now and then. I'll be back on track tomorrow.

mkendrick- good for you! And yeah, don't be to hard on yourself, you've come a long way. :)

Congrats, everyone! KurLEQ, you look so good! Wow!

I did my 7th Couch to 25K jog this morning. I love this program! But yellow dust from China has blown into Korea and so I'm really worried my cough is turning into something worse, like bronchitis. My stamina is improving, but I'm coughing myself sick afterwords. Everyone I know is sick from this.

KurLEQ -- thanks! And you look really awesome!

Well, I've weighed in at 139.8 for the past couple days, so ... I am outta here!! Good luck to everyone!

Yikes! The thread was hiding on the 3rd page of the forum! I went away for a little while because I took a brief jaunt back to hovering right above 150, but I'm at 148.8 today, and have gotten 140s a few times in the past week or so, so I think I'm here for good! I'm so excited. I haven't weighed less than 150 since my senior year of high school! :)

SnowWolf 03-31-2010 12:45 AM

bama girl- Good for you! Keep going strong. =)

bama girl 04-01-2010 07:22 PM

How is everyone doing today? 147.4 for me, but I'm pretty sure at least some of that is just lost water weight. :P

Samantha417 04-02-2010 11:56 AM

So my TOM finished today, and my whoooosh came! Yesterday I weighed 146.0, today I weigh 144.6!!! I'm so excited!!

ruby5839 04-03-2010 02:50 AM

Hi everyone! I've come to join you because I've been stuck in the 140's for months and lately, I've completely lost my motivation to get out of them. Hopefully this accountability will give me the kick in the pants I need!

Samantha417 04-03-2010 12:12 PM

Welcome! It's such a pain to get that motivation going in the beginning, but you can do it!!

Down to 142.8 today!!

bama girl 04-04-2010 07:47 PM

Whoa, Samantha! You're doing awesome! It looks like you are almost at goal. I need a whoosh right now. Soooo much salt yesterday that I am putting of weighing till tomorrow.

energie 04-05-2010 03:28 AM

hey I'll join. I'm 148 and I can't wait to see the 130s. I havent been in the 130s in my adulthood....so this will be a treat to finally see it :)

So I have a question for everyone. I just recently got back into the 140s after many months of being in the 150s again and I was wondering about what do you guys eat?

Should I eat more to get over the tiny plateau or eat less? It seems like whenever I eat more, I lose more weight. But going out to at at applebees and eating a digiorno for one pizza really shouldnt get me back down to 148, should it?

bama girl 04-05-2010 06:06 PM

Lauren, I don't know about a lot of people, but I do know some people who have used calorie zig-zagging to break a plateau. Basically, you keep your average calories for the week the same but you eat 100-300 more or fewer calories each day, alternating. I know that's kind of a bad explanation-- maybe someone else can explain better.

energie 04-05-2010 07:28 PM

What always helped me break through a plateau is just not giving up by staying consistent. Some people up the calories a bit; some people up their workouts. As for me, I just keep with my plan and I eventually break through it.

Today was a good day for me. I ran for 25 minutes and walked for 20 minutes. I'm 147.7 pounds today.
