I actually wear my normal bra instead of a sports bra. There is definitely much more support in my everyday bra. I want to invest in a good sports bra that has support and doesn't just pull over my head like the one I have now. I am DYING for a "ta ta tamer" from Lululemon...but they're expensive! I might make that my next goal reward.

Icon - My mom made the appointment lol, otherwise trust me I would NOT be going! I have horrible teeth :< Lately they've been good though...

Omg. Omg omg omg. The scale says 189lb. I checked it 3 times. OMG. I was hoping for just -0.6lbs this week and I got another -1.5lbs!!!! In fear that I could spike back up from whatever, I'm setting a tentative new goal for 188.9lb and next week I plan to kick my butt to kick off a few lbs before TOM starts so that the water weight won't make me sad lol. I'm so psyched about seeing 189 on the scale I think I'll go do a happy dance in the kitchen or something lol!

Oh also, we bought Halloween candy this week and thankfully my aunt didn't buy kitkats or reeses peanut butter cups, which are my favorite, so I haven't been tempted to steal any! Actually, I picked up one of the candy bars the other day and as soon as I saw the calorie count I put it right back down and munched on some almonds instead. NSV booya

Mary- Congrats! That's a great weight loss! AND on avoiding that Halloween candy it's the worst.

I've decided I'm not going to weight myself for another two weeks. I weighed myself this week and even though I have been WAY more careful about eating and exercising I gained 1.3 pounds! I'm just so frustrated. I did just start to drink lots of water during the day so I'm hoping that is the reason but I have been fighting to get to my next mini goal of 150 for almost two months now. I've added more exercise (I'm doing the c25K now) and I've started keeping track of everything I eat and it's not coming off.

Grats Mary! keep the scale moving
Chrissy just keep pushing it will move I sat at the same weight for 3 months before it finally moved and I was doing everything right.

Last night I decided im going to not eat ANY halloween candy. Chocolate candy is a HUGE trigger for me and knowing there's going to be a house full of kids here on Halloween (nieces and nephews) with bags and bags of it freaks me out. If i just try to avoid it now maybe It wont trigger me to eat it later when its staring me in the face. Right now im just avoiding the bag of kit kats/peanut butter cups my dad bought (HE LOVES CANDY and is skinny as a rail) and I must say Im doing well!

So wish me luck ladies! I get to see my boyfriend on Thanksgiving and I really want to look awesome from the last time hes seen me and not giving in to candy should help

Alright! Life is officially calmer. Today after work I'm going to buy some FOOD and then set up my Wii and see what this Wii Fit is all about. Yay

Glad to see everyone is doing well! Mary, I'm kind of jealous, but good for you

Also, TOM arrived last night (on a plane, yay me) so maybe I'll lose some of this bloat, which should work, especially with exercise.

/hugs to everyone

Christine - The c25K should really help! I'm loving it so far

Pammy - good luck, and be strong girl! I know if I even see the reeses or kit kats I'll be dying to have some.

Stella - be strong Stella, you'll break out of those 190s! Let me know how wii fit is because I kinda want to try it but I don't know all of the things you can do with it.

Last Night Recap 1am: Tv Brakes, Garbage Can Brakes, and Dishwasher starts reeeeking! Clean entire house in a scurry b/c friend says he's coming over, but my phone wasn't getting any service so didn't get the calls!!
2am: Sit down to study and think I hear thunder and rain. Only it's not thunder, nor rain, it's the neighbors bathroom upstairs flooding into mine!!
Finally just decide to call it a night and go to bed when all of the sudden the tv turns on by itself and won't go off high volume.

I could only laugh at the entire situation with my roommates lol, but it was a rough night. Luckily the apartment is still standing.

Managed to eat well too.

Hi everyone ~ I'm really new to the forums and I've been reading posts ~ slightly shy about posting interjecting myself in other people's conversations lol

But I want to get to know everyone since everyone here seems really nice and supportive ~

TGIF TOMORROW ~

<3 Grace

Edit: I think a sports bra + a bra is a good alternative. It really depends on how intense your activity is! We need to support our puppies ... (scared of the sag)

Welcome Grace!

So I hooked up my Wii fit, and aside from a little scale discrepancy (its telling me I weigh 180, and while I would love to believe it, its not so!) it's a lot of fun. I have no balance, but I think the issue is I had it directly on my carpet. Tomorrow I'm going to put it on my yoga mat and see what happens.

Love love love the hula hoop, and I did actually break a sweat from the hula hoop and the running.

Hi everyone. Been trying to eat more protein - ugh, never realized what a challenge that is for me. Though I definitely feel better when I do so gotta continue to working at it. Frustrated by how my fat % went up too. Gotta focus more on things like beans. In the past, I've been lucky to get 10% of my kcals in protein. Now shooting for 30%+.

I've decided that the best sports bras truly are the super expensive ones. But so worth it when you can a good one.

Stella, I'm eager to hear what you think of your Wii fit. Been wanting it for a while, but don't have the cash right now. Maybe after the holidays.

Welcome Grace!

Good luck everyone with Halloween! I gotta work all weekend - currently on a pediatric surgery service, so hopefully for the kids sake its not busy.

Stella did you add the extra feet to the bottom of it? I think it throws the weight off without them. I figured that out the hard way

Pammy - that's good to know if I ever get the wii fit/borrow my friend's because mine is set up in my living room, which is carpeted.

I have SO much to do today - I have to clean my room (including the cat litter and the bunny cage) and the rest of the house, write papers, bake muffins that I promised my friend we'd make, organize the movies that have trickled up to my room over the last year and take them back downstairs, collect my horror movies for tonight's movie fest I'm hosting, exercise, and be showered and pretty by the time my boyfriend gets here for our little sleep over tonight Thankfully I finished all of my laundry yesterday!

Good luck with today ladies and don't let the Halloween candy win! We can beat Halloween!

I like Halloween candy - I'm just going to counter-balance it by running and hiking tomorrow and hula-hooping tonight

Pammy - the feet came already on it, but I did get 4 "more" of the little feet, so maybe I do need to put those on? I'll play with it later.

I have no appetite, I'm just in so much pain, so I'm trying to eat like...calorie/vitamin packed things. I like Luna Bars. They're like little candy bars, but not really. I'm supposed to go out to a lunch meeting today with my boss, so I'm going to try to force down some food, but oof.
