My master plan was to get a PhD... however I dont want to put my life on hold so I am leaning towards law school which is a lot less time... I tried to get an entry level addictions job for a rehab program but they wouldnt hire me because I didnt have experience... they were the crappiest bottom of the totem pole job...where else was I supposed to get experiendce? sitting on a street corner and doing drugs myself I guess...
This weekend I went camping with friends. I lost count of quantites of smores, chocolate and alcohol. >.< ugh, back to the start and dieting hardcore. At least I have my period so some of the bloating is due to it...though I'm a little afraid to weigh myself for a few days! I must get to my mini goal by halloween! I have so much work in the next two days... I don't even have time to run until tomorrow night.

I applied for a spot at the local health food store here --- they demand a minimum of six months cashier experience, and I only have five months of experience. I can't even get a job at a #$@#% grocery store. Much less anything to do with psychology.
I'm just gonna give you a and not any cover letter advice... I've never gotten any job for which I wrote a cover letter. I'm hoping it's just coincidence.
Now, if you do decide to go to grad school some day and you need application essay tips, come to me... I seem to be an expert at those, I got into every PhD program I applied to!
Use your cover letter to highlight how the items on your resume prepare you for that specific position, and to convey your enthusiasm for the company and the job responsibilities.
