My Good Choice Today Was...

  • I'm all about the little things in life... I'm also easily entertained. I thought we could make a thread about little things we did today that was a small choice, but in the long run is a GREAT choice.

    For example, today for my snack I realllllly, realllly, realllllly wanted to eat some of the cheese sticks left over from Pizza Hut, but I chose to eat a cup of grapes instead. Now, I don't have carb overload and I made a HEALTHY choice.

    What were your good choices today?
  • Today, instead of getting the subway into town from my flat, I walked there and back. That's a 40 min walk each way! And I feel great for doing it

  • Wow great job! Today my good choice was eating good! I ate low fat and low carb food and ONLY had breakfast and lunch. No snacking. For me that's awesome, lol!
  • I ate my heathy (and free!) packed whole wheat baked ziti instead of ordering in Noodles & Company with my two co-workers who got their Mac & Cheese.

  • Great choices girls! I took the stairs at the bus station instead of the escalator this morning, that's about it for me so far (but it's still early here!)
  • Today, I forced myself to stay at the gym for basically an hour. AND didn't snack except on a granola bar!
  • I put my M&M dispenser on my bookshelf with her arm facing the wall. Now if I want some M&M's I have to get up, walk across the room, and turn her around in order to get some.

  • I only had one piece of whole wheat homemade garlic bread and filled up and veggies, too!

  • I prepared my breakfast and lunch for tomorrow and stashed it in the fridge.

    B- Smoothie: 3/4 strawberry yogurt, 3/4 raspberries, strawberries, and blueberries, milk until smooth
    Fiber One bar- Peanut butter

    L- Spinach salad w/ 1/3 Mexican Cheese & leftover steak/chicken fajita meat, serving of carrots, crunch pack of apples/grapes, Pudding snack pack

    So, now I am ready to just Grab and Go!
  • I stopped myself from snacking...My co worker had white cheddar popcorn, I had a taste for it and only ate three pieces. That satisfied my taste craving and I didn' feel guilty because I didn't stuff my face....YAH!

  • I totally walked* by peanut butter, oatmeal cookie, m&m ice cream today in Target. Those are my weaknesses all in one ice cream!

    *By walked by I mean... walked by once, went back to stare and then finally dragged myself away before I started to drool. LOL
