Thumbs up Getting Back On Track Tomorrow!

I started my diet at the beginning of September, did really well for a week and then just pretty much gave up. I think it was just depression. I was unemployed for a year but I start my new job tomorrow (yay!). I've been inspired to start again because it is something I really want. I just need to take it slow......and maybe slow down on the beer, lol

I am in the same boat!

I always try and be perfect and that never works!

Slow and steady all the way!

And for me - it's the wine or vodka!

*We can do it!!!!*

What are you doing to get back on track? That's always the hard part for me -making a plan of action.

I need to get back on track too - I tried the atkins and managed to stick to it for 3wks but I sliped a disc in my back on Friday and i just felt so misrable about being stuck in the house that I had a chinese and a KFC.

I dont know how to start back though cause I can't really do any exercise now and im full of carbs.

Congrats on the new job!

I just got back on track today too! I was doing really well for a few weeks and then last week for some reason I wanted nothing but McDonalds, Dominos, and Ben and Jerrys...it was a bad week.

I'm starting over today and keep telling myself to stick to it for at least this first week (and hopefully that will jumpstart me for the weeks/months after that) because I get to see my husband in 8 days after being apart for 2 months...and I don't think I've lost a darn pound!

Good luck and let us know how you are doing!

I really need to get back on track! I am maintaining, but honestly, with what I have been eating, I shouldn't be. I still have 9 (or maybe 14) lbs to lose, but since I've been back at school, I have been indulging in my favorite new de-stressor... cooking and lots of baking. I think I was led astray by my roommate, but as I cannot eat 15 cookies in a day like she does and stay thin, I should not take her advice.

I need to make a no sweets (also perhaps no baking at all rule... today I made brioche. It was delicious!) rule, and stick to it. If I don't eat sweets, I don't crave them. I should only allow myself to cook. I did make an incredible vegetable chili the other day, with lentils and barley and bulgar wheat and black beans...

The rule has been enacted!
