Every morning post pee pre shower... but official weigh in is only once a week.

I weigh once a week, every Saturday morning as soon as I wake up.
I WANT to weigh every day, but I only weigh once a week for my own sake. My weight tends to fluctuate so much, and when I'm weighing every day and watching that, it makes me need to eat a whole cake by myself - it totally stresses me out. So I only do it once a week now...it keeps me more stable and gives me less reasons to stress throughout the week. And I, too, do it nakie. :) |
i try to do it every other day but in high school i had a slight eating disorder and i would weigh myself almost 3-5 times a day so im trying to make sure i dont get myself back in bad habits.

I weigh myself at least 5 times a day, which I know is a horrible idea... but I can't help it! I actually just got back from taking the scale to the dumpster though, and I plan to buy a new one friday that's a little more accurate. And I am going to force myself to only weigh in every other day, and hopefully end up just doing it once a week. And I always weigh in "nekkid" haha... every little bit helps!!!

Ok, I'll balance you folks who are weighing more than once a day. I weigh in @ every 6 weeks. However I track my calorie deficit daily to keep myself on plan.

Way too often. I work for the health department, and we have scales on two different floors....and while I know better, I've been weighing myself every day at work. My official weigh in is at the Dr's office every Saturday morning. I weigh in wearing the same outfit every time. I try to consider the Saturday weigh in as the only one that really counts...but the daily weigh ins can leave me very frustrated.

I don't keep a scale at my house because I find when I have in the past, I get obsessed and weigh myself daily or more than once/day. Too obsessive and stressful for me, and I think it contributes to me feeling easily frustrated by fluctuations, focusing too much on 'dieting' and I just can't keep up the energy that all takes.
So I weigh myself sometimes up to twice/week, sometimes not for two weeks or more. That's working for me! I just keep doing my Weight Watchers thing. |
