I buy most of my pants at the Gap, and they seem to vary a lot with their different sizes. I wore a pair of size 8 "real straight" jeans yesterday and they were comfortably loose (almost too lose), and today I am wearing size 8 super skinny gap jeans (I think that's what they're called) that are much tighter around the waist even though they fall at the same part of my waist and in that area the jeans should be the same measurements.
