Hey girls. I haven't stopped by in a little while. Congrats to all the newbies! The 130's is a nice place to be, even if we're trying to get out of it!
Mayness - Congrats! 131 is an amazing number to see. Wow! Jahjah - You look awesome in your pic! It's funny how we all feel fat sometimes, but to the outside world we probably look pretty fit and healthy. Crazy how our minds work! Speaking of mind games, Natalie - how are you doing? You've posted lately about having trouble with that. I'm finally back down to the lower end of my maintenance range, so my HUGE goal is to stay at 136 over the weekend, and then really try to lose more next week. The weekends absolutely kill me. I literally go from 139-136 from Mon-Fri and then back up to 139 by Monday. It drives me insane. My body clearly likes the lower 130s if it can bounce down so quickly, so why do I torture it with excess food just because it's the weekend? Silly, silly, silly. I'm just gonna try to stay as busy as possible and not give myself time to sit around and overeat. Any great advice about not relaxing too much over the weekend? |
137 this morning...yeay!!! I'm 2 pounds from goal (I CANNOT believe it!) and I was hoping to be 135 when I leave for my holiday on Wednesday, but I'm not too sure that'll happen..we'll see:)

Hi guys, I've been about 139 for a couple of days, and I'm checking in here even though I'm not really trying to lose anymore...just aiming for about 1800-2000 calories today and working out 4-6 days a week and seeing where that takes me.

Me...I've decided to lower my goal to 130 because I'm weighing in about 136/135 at the moment and I still have a little fat to lose around my hips (my problem area). I went shopping for new jeans yesterday (I'm on holiday in the States at the moment and I actually fit into 6s!! But I ended up getting a size 8 as the 6s made me look like I had 'flat butt'! Anyway, what an ego boost to fit into 6s :) Off for a run now... |
ive been 129.0 for 2 days now!!! im not going to celebrate yet though! lol

Congrats jahjah1223! Very inspiring stuff.
I'm currently 134 pounds, and have been floating around the 130s for a while now. I really want to make a push to get down to those 120s soon. It's so hard sometimes hitting a bit of a plateau while you're still working hard at it. But I guess good things take time. |

Can I join in? I reached my lowest weight as an adult a couple weeks ago, at 127.5 lbs, but I've been eating like crazy, and managed to gain 6 lbs in two weeks! That is just horrible!! I need to get back on track and stay motivated, but there is definitely no one in my house trying to lose weight, and my boyfriend buying good food and cooking for me all the time is not helping! I hate working out, so I need to get on that. So hopefully joining this will motivate me!

Yeehaw Forestroad!!! I think that with your calorie goals and fitness level, you're going to continue losing, although probably more slowly. Looks like your Halloween goal is a real possibility!

Hi new almost 130-ers! This stupid decade is so hard to kick. Halloween goal looked attainable at the beginning of the month, but I keep fluctuating. I've been really OP exercise-wise; slightly less OP eating-wise but still averaging only 1700 cals/day for October. Sounds high to see a loss in the 130s, I guess, but I burn 500 calories a workout (at a conservative estimate) 5 days a week. Maintenance for me should be about 2000. The last 5 just don't want to come off...these pounds must be made of special adhesive fat.

I'm hoping to be down to around 130 for Halloween. The last time I weighed myself I weighed 136, but I've been incredibly sick with the flu this week so I know I'm down quite a bit from that. I am not weighing myself at all this week until I get back to eating all the calories I am supposed to each day, because I don't want to be encouraged by a bunch or weight I lost by being sick. But cross your fingers for me that I can lose the last few pounds on my journey by Halloween!!
