I work out for about 45 minutes a day, five days a week. So 4 hours, 15 minutes a week. Oh, and I just joined Curves, so that explains half an hour a day, plus I ride my bike there and back.

I do the shred 4 times a week so that's 2 hours and biggest loser yoga 2 times so that's another hour for a total of 3 hours. It seems so little compared to everyone here!

Actually it would be better to do BOTH. Running is great but hard on the body especially for beginners. Instead of running daily or twice a day as some people do it's much better to let the body rest a day inbetween, so I find alternating works best that way you get the consistent calorie burn most days of the week without over taxing the body.

We are also taught in Heart rate zone training that training at max isn't always best. Again too much recovery time if your always trying to train in zone 5a or whatever.

I personally enjoy group workouts more and thats the main reason I joined the gym because I get bored working out alone and or doing the same ol walking or jogging. Group exersize gives me more options and then I dont become as bored!

nmhairstylist, i have a love-hate relationship with it, like most people. Most of the time I don't even feel like starting it and I hate it while I'm doing it but at the end I feel so great!

I bike to work 5 days a week (20 min each way). I do Wii Fit whenever I think of it or have time - 0-2 hours a week.

I do a workout video for 30mins every day followed by 20mins on the elliptical. I also walk on both of my 10min breaks at work to keep my body awake during the day in the office.
So I guess that works out to 8hours and 10mins a week. Wow, that sounds like a lot!
