Bad news: My baby needs a combo of maintenance, updates, repairs, and fluid flushes to the tune of $1800. I don't mind it because she's 10 years old, 136,000 miles and has never so much as had a check engine warning and I drive *hard*. I get an oil change once every 3 months and she carries on like the day I bought her, so I figure this is kind of like a spa vacation for a coupe. LoL. It is made even more okay by the fact that they gave me a fully loaded 2010 GLK 4MATIC to cruise around in until the work is done.

Mercedes is the sh*t, I would never own another car if they were trying to give it to me free. Their customer service can't be beat.

Brie -- You are crazy! You wanna borrow a Brazilian micro-bikini for Miami? I have an extra one and they won't arrest you for walking around in coochie floss down there.

Lissa -- If you're that sore, I would take an hour or so today to stretch out really good and then take a hot bath in epsom salts tonight. That way you'll be good to go tomorrow.

Stella -- hehehe! I think those cookies were meant to be today, and how fortunate that they fit in your calories!

Luvja -- LOL!!! It always cracks me up how home gym equipment becomes $700 clothes hangers. I have my blackberry alarm set to go off when I need to get my butt on mine.

Beaka -- HEY HONEY PIE!!!!!! LoL. That pic is so ridiculous. The friend that snapped it told me I need to be one of those models that takes photographs for adult escort ads. And you had better stay on track! Keep your shenanigans to a minimum.

Amy -- Have a break. LoL. My mom teaches and tomorrow is her kids last day. I've helped her grade essays and papers before, and I honestly don't know how you guys manage doing it for so long without taking a flask of whiskey to class or something.

Talina -- You could even get your own mini-fridge for your room. I can't stand having roommates because my stuff always ends up eaten.

Beauty -- Welcome to the 20's chat!

Hi girls!!! My goodness, I am absolutely FREEZING!!! It's cold and rainy and just plain yucky here. Considering last week was over 90 degrees, this 50 degree weather is no fun!

My TOM is starting today, lucky me....and my back is hurting me a bit. I think I twinged it sleeping or something. If I turn a bit or something, I get a twinge. It just randomly hurts. And then I needed to run some errands since TOM started and there were no pads in the house anywhere, so I skipped out on the gym today. I still rode my stationary bike for 30 minutes while watching an episode of The Hills. I am exhausted and hungry and cold and am so looking forward to bedtime! haha

Hope everyone's having a good Wednesday!

Wow Nish I can't believe I've never heard that about the strawberries before! Yea, the one's that grow here are kinda meh, some are good, but not all of them. Then we get california strawberries in the spring and they are white inside and HUGE and pretty bland. Suprisingly my favorite strawberries are the ones I had in Finland, sooo sweet. And the little wild ones are awesome too, I have some liquor made of that haha..

Ugh I was staarving as soon as I got home, didn't pack enough lunch again. I had a 'smoothie' with milk, berries and spinach. I never knew it would come to the point where I'm drinking 2 cups of spinach for an afternoon snack. When did that happen??

Stella: Yes, those cookies were meant for you

Luvja: So you know we'll expect you to have knocked all of that dust off the machine by tomorrow. Glad you're back on track.

Brie: You are crazy... and we still love you. We'll miss you!

Nish: Now that you mention it... it does look a little back page of the magazine. And as for my shenanigans, I refuse to keep them to a minimum. Shenanigans and tomfoolery are my FAV activities.

Just worked out with the trainer... I think I did the first day of this seafood week wrong. I was about to DIE and couldn't do my 3rd set of the circuit. But I did go do all my cardio. Maybe not enough protein. And my trainer actually let me stop, so I must have really been looking crazy... or maybe it's the after effects of the holiday weekend. I dunno. Weight loss confuses me. I was hungry when I got back and ate half a cantelope.

Greetings from St Louis!

Just arrived in the suburbs of St Louis today to wet weather and thunder. We had a good drive up though, it only started raining after we got close to our destination and it really hasn't let up since. Bummer.

Thanks for the congrats all! I am really going to have to get up early and do some exploring tomorrow by way of foot, the neighborhood is very nice and I don't have to worry about folks calling me rude things while I walk. (And they did in my parents' old neighborhood... buncha savages.)

I received confirmation of my application today from the university. Seems the only thing they need from me now is my high school transcript. I didn't even know they needed such things, especially since I graduated from HS in 2003 and I've already graduated from one university already. *sigh* Looks like I've got my work cut out for me.

As for personals...

Lissa- Sounds painful. Maybe some Advil would help?

Chele- I know, the weather has been downright crazy lately. In Memphis, we have had 8" of rain for the month of May alone. That's more than we get in 3-4 months. I'm hoping that while I'm in St Louis the weather will cool down a little and the rain will stop.

Luvja and Taylor
- Glad you're back on program!

Speaking of on program, it's going to be downright hellish staying on program this week. I am going to make it though, even if it's difficult. It's just a matter of overcoming inertia.

Oh, by the way... my mom has a digital scale here. This oughta be interesting...

Beaka - I always have those looks when I work out with my trainer. The "I'm really workin hard" look involves my eyes rolling back. The first time she thought i was going to die. I was. But that's only because it was freakin hard

aneleh - spinach in a smoothie. never heard of that one before.

Taylor and Luvja - on track pronto.

Nish - i'll be over in 30 for those strawberries. they look amazing.

Brie - do i have time to stuff myself into a suitcase and come along? Have a fantastic time. We will be here making sure you are OP when you get back. But for now, enjoy the food, the guys, and the sun.

stella - haha lucky. I had the opposite happen. I tried to get some baked lays out of the vending machine a couple of weeks ago. Well i tried to get 1 bag out and it go stuck. So I tried again. Stuck. Three freaking times and not a d*** chip to show for it. It was NOT meant to be that day.

Amyleigh - I have gained and lose 6lbs in a day. The body is just plain weird.

Beauty - welcome

So dont tell my boss but today I ducked out of work a little early for an appointment aka going to see my trainer. Best appointment of my life. Now i can pass out. Today is day 3 being OP. Super happy about that. Despite all of the temptations at work...people baking cookies, ordering chinese food, cake with frosting galore.

I am trying to balance out work and the gym with hanging out with friends and other activities. Its kinda working but kinda not. I want to have my cake and eat it to (okay not literally though). Why is it so hard to find time to do the things that I want to do?

It is weird that even though, I've pretty much lived on my own for 7 years give or take a bit, backpacked through multiple countries (on occasion all by myself too!), I still call my parents and let them know that I've made it to my hotel safely when I travel for work? The first thing I always do after walking into my hotel room is call my mom and say "I've made it to City X and my hotel safe and sound, just thought you'd like to know."

Just finished 3 miles in the hotel gym. My second work out today!!! I do haveta say though, why are hotel gyms so crappy? Anyways off to grab some dinner, probably subway coz my eating was sh!t today! Then off to an early bed, that's the best thing about travelling for work I can go to sleep as early as I want and no one says anything! I love my sleep.....

Night ladies!!!

lissa- get yourself a sedative and get comfy failing that, maybe a hot water bottle?

I used to do the SAME THING. As soon as my plane landed, I'd call my mom and be like "okay, I'm here safe I'll call you later." I kinda miss that. Not that my dad "doesn't care" but I called him when I got to Ohio and he was like "um, alright?" I think its why I miss my mom the most when I'm away for business.

Now I just text the roomie. He kinda cares...
