Leighish, It's probably water retention from the soup, but a little trauma from the surgery will hold water too. Drink a bunch of water over the next few days to clear it out.
I'm on some sort of downward spiral - in a good way! 174.2 this morning. That's down from 176.4 on Monday. |
Did a Cardioke video from OnDemand...It was okay. It made me sweat and it made my legs burn...if I can get past the cheese factor, I might do it again.

I'm really trying to give this my all and work hard to lose weight by the time October 25th hits. I really want to be under 169.9 but we'll see what happens. :cb: :broc:
I've been going to the gym twice a week and eating super healthy and under my alloted 1329 calories a day. I just hope it pays off!!! I've been working hard. :tread: On the weekend I took an hour long walk and did some crunches and used my yoga ball. :D It felt so good to be walking in the crisp autumn air and enjoying being outside. I just have to keep this up!!! :lifter: |

Hi everyone,
I will be joining this club. I read the posts and they are sooo motivating. Just seeing others in similar place as me and working hard is great. I am 178 right now. I NEED TO GET OUT of the 170s soon. I haven't seen 160's on the scale for a while now. I will try to go to the gym 2 times a day--basically just do cardio for 25 minutes. My stamina is aweful right now coz i was sick. But I hope to build it up again. Dieting is soooo hard. But I will try to do it. Hardest part for me is eating 5-6 times. I just dont get the chance to do that. Either I have to be looking at the clock all the time or I get busy with work and forget to eat. Next hardest thing is get over desert cravings. I can eat a desert anytime and as many times as possible in a day. SUcks for me. |
I'm throwing my but back in here... I managed to almost get out of here and taste the 60's......... then i got a boyfriend, lost my job, and basically have to eat what ever anyone buys me which is junk food. hurrah.

I'm there with you. 170-175 has always been my comfort level. It was what I weighed from the end of freshman year to the middle of senior year when I gained ten lbs.
I just want to crack the 160's because I think if I can then this platue will be over. I honestly think I'm afraid to go beyond because i know i can make it to 170, but past it, can I? Or will I fail. Edit---- Well maybe I did taste it... I stepped on the wii fit and it said I weighed 166lbs.... hmmm who knows. |
Down to 173.0 this morning. 3 pounds from my first mini-goal!!! The last time I saw a 16anything was at least 4 years ago.

I think i'm just gonna stick to my scale because i adjusted my height on the thing and it said I was at 147... so yeah.... though i was on carpet, who knows. |
Well I was up at 172.4lbs yesterday and today I'm down at 172.0lbs
I know it's just a couple of ounces but they add up. |
I weighed myself this morning and saw 172 --- OMG !!
But I am going to check it again to make sure. My weight always teases me like that. Today was my off day from gym. I hope because I didnt work out today the scale doesnt show anything more than 172 :( If that is truly the weight then I am so tempted to just get in the 160s. OMG its gonna be a while since I have been there -- I mean solidly. I got sick like 3 weeks ago and it was really bad. SO I lost like 6-7 pounds and I was at 168.7. I was sooo excited. Being sick was very painful. I had really high fever for like 1 full week. But I was thinking in my head -- its totally worth it. yay I wanna get sick again in like 2 weeks so i lose 6 more pounds. and so on. But 3 days after I started recovering the weight started coming back. I was NOT even eating. I would eat like 1 small meal a day and make a snack or two. But it came back on. and I ended up at 178. So if this loss is for real then I am super excited. If I can be in the 160s by Halloween -- then the reward I have thought of -- a piece of cheesecake -- will be totally deserved. I was looking at facebook pics of my second cousin. She was really big in june last year. BUT her recent pic --- dang she has lost soooooooo much weight. ITs crazy. I can do this too. 160s I will see you soon :) |
I am back. Oh no. I got married, went on our honeymoon and gained weight. Ugh!!. So I am back and determined to get out of the 170s once and for all.
