Honey, I think we're all figuring it out along the way. Weight loss is one of those things where nobody is gonna get it all right and especially not on the first try. You said yourself that you've never failed at anything, and you're not gonna fail at this. I see you said you're eating just to be eating. Maybe you can start with a food journal. Writing down everything you eat and how you felt/ how hungry you were when you ate it. It may give you some insight to your eatting patterns, and maybe you can try to avoid some of those triggers.
