I had a dream last night that Pizza Hut was initiating a "Now Serving Breakfast" campaign (why Pizza Hut? I have no idea). I had a promo coupon so I walked over to the restaurant that's about a half mile from my apartment, and they had their pizza buffet carts full of breakfast foods. Bad breakfast foods. Like glazed/powdered/chocolate donuts and jumbo blueberry muffins and omelets slathered in five kinds of cheese.

Now you'd think, since this is a dream, that I'd be jumping for joy and stuffing my face with all of these tasty calorie bombs I haven't eaten in months. But I was actually upset. I couldn't find any fruit or plain ol' whole wheat toast but I was surrounded by these mountains of fried sugar and I kept running around trying to find something good to eat but couldn't...and I woke up angry at the fast food industry and sulked into the kitchen to make my steel cut oats and green tea.

I'm dreaming about nutrition now. I suppose that's a good sign

I have similar dreams but I usually end up eating whatever the junk food is in my dream. Then I wake up angry at myself and worried about how much I screwed myself up and scared to step on the scale...even though I did nothing wrong in reality. Dreams are strange.

Funny you should mention Pizza hut serving breakfast... because they do. At least at Target's food court.

My favorite TV show is Lost, and I have dreams that I'm either a survivor on the Island or I'm with someone who is a survivor. It's really, really, really weird.

That's good you're dreaming about nutrition! It means that you're being really conscious about it.
