Day 1...
So far so good! I actually dragged myself out of bed this morning to hit the gym extra early before work. Oatmeal for breakfast, a big salad for lunch with spinach leaves, zucchini, tomatoes with fat-free feta and fat-free salsa instead of dressing. Snacked on some celery. Husband already has veggie soup on the stove for when I get home.
I'm hoping this is a good sign, and I know it's only Day 1 but I don't really feel like I'm in the mind-set of "I'm on a diet" or "I'm trying to lose weight"...I just really have myself believing this is the way my life will be from now on and I actually feel EXCITED by that thought. I'm sure after a few days I will be missing my Milano cookies desperately but this time just feels much different than all of the other countless times I have given this a go.
Think good thoughts for me please, I need all the good karma I can get :-)
