Default I am a lurker who has been slacking...5 weeks til wedding!!!
hi all! i am a long time reader and few time poster, but i love your group here and all of the encouragement i see!

so, my story right now is that my wedding to the love of my life is in 5 weeks. i thought i had been doing ok, eating good "most" of the time and exercising a couple of times a week.

well, i ended up gaining 2 lbs this week and had a wake up call that i'm not really trying at all!

i am going to start a whole food "cleanse" this week (no processed foods, limited red meat and dairy, no alcohol, etc.) and get my butt to the gym.

i just wanted to say hi to you all and that i hope to be around this forum mroe actively and am looking forward to the support we can all offer each other.

First of all congrats on the wedding!! Also I lurked for a while, but all the support that you get from this site can keep you going. Good luck on staying on plan. I know you can do it.

Hey Skinny! Welcome. I bet you could drop 10 pounds before the wedding if you decided to! This is a good place to be..LOL..nothing like the good 'ole scale for a wakeup call either!

weddings are always something to look forward to.. ecspecially if your the bride Stick with it and I promise that darn scale will move in the right direction...
