How much weight do you loose in a week/month?

  • Im curious with the statistics of the people here. how much of weigh do some of you lose in a week or month? or both?
  • I usually lose between 1 and three pounds a week - but I am more then happy with one pound a week. I am trying for slow and steady and making changes that will improve my overall health and well being. I do not want quick start diets and are impossible to maintain over the long haul and do not fit into my lifestyle and my families.
  • i'm on around 2-3lb a week. which is the max you should do. 3lb of fat is equal to 10500 calories which is an awful lot of work
  • I lose between 1 and 2 lbs a week. So 6-8 a month. But things slow down as I get closer to my goal weight
  • I do everything right, according to my dr and multiple experts, but I lose maybe a 1-2 pounds a month. I'm still trying to figure out what the magic number of cals is for my body.
  • If i do everything, and i mean EVERYTHING perfectly, then I loose a pound. But my body is really struggeling to loose, I've been stuck at this weight for about a month now. I haven't been trying my hardest either tho.... I re-started yesterday though!
  • I don't know if I am just weird, or if its because Im young...but I have lost like 3-7lb a week so far...its weird I thought it would be far less...but again I am weird...
  • IF i do everything perfect - then i often loose 1 kg per month (which about... 2.2 lbs a month)
    But i don't do everything - so i don't really loose anything T_T But at least i'm still gaining muscles and gaining a habit of eating right, so i'm happy.
  • I lose a little over a pound every week. Without fail. But that's just with changing my diet. I haven't really implemented my exercise yet.

  • well the more you have to lose the faster it comes off at first but it will slow down to around 1-2 a week and even less then that as you get closer to your goal. I have been around 2 a week but sometimes a little more and sometimes none at all
  • I used to lose about 10 pounds a month, up until December, which was 8, and January, which has been about 3.

    Stupid plateau. I'm still doing everything I should be.
  • around 2 lbs a week, I lost over 10 lbs this month though.
  • I lose around 2 a week, but around 5-6 a month. I am OK with that, i didn't get fat overnight and I wont become healthy overnight either.
  • I have lost 5 pounds this month, so a little over a pound a week/avg. Sometimes I lose nothing, sometimes 2-3 pounds
