lol--- i was wondering the same thing---

i have an idea--- i'm going to steal it from another forum though---but its the "Tag you're it game" ---its working great on the other page---so here's the link http://www.3fatchicks.com/forum/showthread.php?t=157285

-----if you want to see what its like
--- but we'll do this one just between us 6 or however many of us there are now
so we each log on and tag say two other people since there is only like 6 of us and those two people have to do 30 min of any exercise of their choice and then come back on here and tag two other people --- and then those people keep it going and so forth--- oh and make sure you make the tags stick out by putting them in color or something ---so if you have 2 tags thats 60 min you owe---and if you cant finish them that day --push them to the next if you need to

so i'll start by tagging

TAG YOU'RE IT!!!!! (30 MIN)

Beautiful Ace 12-03-2008 01:25 PM

I check in all the time but nobody ever posts so... llol

princess2323 12-03-2008 03:15 PM

QTestRDH 12-03-2008 04:09 PM

Haha, I'm always here too but there hasnt been a lot of posting so I've been quiet

shaunabear 12-04-2008 04:47 PM

Sorry ladies for being MIA. It's been such a hectic week for me, lots going on. I just finished my first day of Level 2 on the 30 Day Shred and man, it is so hard but after I finished it I felt good just knowing that I didn't quit and turn off the DVD player. LOL. How is everyone else doing??

aangel22 12-04-2008 10:44 PM

My week has just been awful...hopefully it is going to be getting better though! There's so much happening here, it is just un-freakin-believable. My husband is a truck driver and they haven't been giving him any freight to haul this week, he finally got a load today going to Indiana. Christmas is going to be such a disappointment for our boys(the baby won't care, but our older son will), since we've been getting crappy paychecks this month. My grandma has colon cancer and is going in for an operation. My grandpa on my other side of the family was in the hospital and now has to stay at a nursing home for rehab. My hubby's gram was in the hospital and his other gram is not doing very well. Seems like all the grandparents are going downhill and it is stressing me, and my husband, out. There is so much more, but I really don't want to waste anybody's time by writing it all out. I'm sure everybody has something going on, I know I'm not the only one! I just really need to get back to 100% into this challenge. I know this week I have been about 80% :( Please forgive me!:^:
Also, how do you get the banner on the signature. I just found out that I can finally get one!:dizzy:

princess2323 12-04-2008 10:54 PM

i'm sorry to hear about all of your bad news anngel---hopefully it will work itself out and everything will be better in the coming days ----here's a virtual hug!!!! feel better and dont be down on yourself for it---take it one day at a time!!!

Beautiful Ace 12-05-2008 01:11 PM

No I don't think I'm going to play tag right now, I've been slacking off on the exercise and I wouldn't want to lie to you guys. lol

LOL. I know how you feel. Last week I barely worked out at all, only two days rather than my normal 5. I'm back on track now but last week was NOT a good week at all.

QTestRDH 12-05-2008 05:50 PM

I've had a crazy week!!! School and work are making me exhausted. I haven't exercised nearly enough this week, BUT as of now I'm down 2lbs so hopefully I will still have a good WI for yah!

princess2323 12-06-2008 03:45 AM

i'll have a good WI hopefully---as of now i'm down to 151.2 so 140's here i come!!! -- if not this week hopefully next week---as for me i'm keeping up with the WO for most part by playing tag on the other thread (losing my bowl full of jelly one) --- and i've done way more working out than i would have just by being on that thread--- also ---eating OP has been good and consistent--- so all is good here --- talk to yall later---nearly 4 am here off to go back to bed

Beautiful Ace 12-06-2008 12:17 PM

This Morning I Weighed In At 307.... Can You Effing Believe That!!!!!!!

Beautiful Ace 12-06-2008 12:26 PM

Oh and not to mention... I go to this girls group thing at my school. It's about 6 girls who just sit around and discuss our problems and life. ANYWAYS. I kind of broke down because I got a job but at the end of my first two shifts I could barely walk, and I was crying and stuff. Well I explained to them all about my weight loss plans and how well I've been doing and whatnot, and told her I really wanted to get an elliptical. She tells me that she's able to get up to $200 per kid a month for either gym memberships or soccer or football etc. SO she said she's going to try her best to get me a used elliptical machine to help me out!!! I really hope it pulls through. Would be the best christmas ever.

princess2323 12-06-2008 02:14 PM

oooohhh ACE ---i hope you get it--- i have one and luv it but i havent used it nearly as much as i would like to---cause its kinda dangerous with a baby that hangs around my legs all day--- or wants to be carried all the time-- but i'll tell you this--- i luv it alot more than the treadmill--- cause u get legs and arms done together--- just start easy and jump on it often throughout the day and you wont even realize how much time you can get done that way--a few min. here a few min. there--and in no time you've put in a lot of time on it and getting great results--- oh and just a heads up--if it comes with iFIt technology (its a chip thing that comes on the nordictrack) you can buy like $25-$30 workout programs to do on it that would automatically adjust the tension and what not---alright hope you get it c ya later

Beautiful Ace 12-06-2008 04:08 PM

That's good advice. It's probably going to be a used one unless they have new ones for approximately $200. It's going to be in the middle of my living room and right in line with the TV. Which is perfect because then I can watch tv while I do it:D

princess2323 12-06-2008 05:14 PM

oh i like the concept of that-- i keep considering to do that myself so i will use it more---right now its taking up the dining room which i have sort of converted into my own person gym storage area=its where i keep my workout stuff and then i grab what i need and work out to dvds in the living room

Beautiful Ace 12-06-2008 06:09 PM

I don't think I would be very devoted to using it if I had nothing else to do while I did... listening to music is okay but I would rather have something to see as well, so I'm not just staring at the wall.lol

QTestRDH 12-06-2008 07:24 PM

Ace I hope you get your eliptical!! I love mine! Princess is right, its so nice to be able to hop on and off all day.

Beautiful Ace 12-06-2008 07:28 PM

I'm so excited, I hope I get it:D

aangel22 12-07-2008 02:52 PM

Ace, that is awesome! I hope you get it. I would love to get one someday.

Now, how do you get the banner on the signature?? :( I can't figure it out...

Beautiful Ace 12-07-2008 06:44 PM

Used ones are really cheap.

Beautiful Ace 12-07-2008 06:45 PM

Oops, put this link "http://i34.tinypic.com/34glk6o.jpg" without the quotes into this

aangel22 12-07-2008 08:49 PM

The second part, the link, doesn't work:(

Beautiful Ace 12-07-2008 09:07 PM

hmm, maybe somebody else will be able to help, i don't know why it wouldn't be working.

aangel22 12-07-2008 10:50 PM

ooo...I got it to work now. I added the pic but didn't click the "insert sig pic". Duh! Thanks Ace!:)
Now I just have to figure out why the "ultimate" came out like "ultimat e". It doesn't show up like that in the box, just in the final product. Huh.
*wishes good weigh-ins for everybody tomorrow!*:carrot::cb::grouphug:

Beautiful Ace 12-08-2008 06:32 PM

Great job team:) Woo!

aangel22 12-08-2008 09:54 PM

Awesome job everybody!!! We are really doing well! I'm still trying to be okay with losing, what seems to me, slowly...but at least this way I will lose it for good and not just temporary! YAY for the silver team!!! ;)

Beautiful Ace 12-08-2008 10:03 PM

Yeh, I can't help but to feel disappointed when I step on the scale and have only lost 2 or 3 lbs... but then I think of it like, if I keep this up for a year, which I know I can and will, that's 104 lbs in a year.... That's a whole freaking lot!!!!

Beautiful Ace 12-08-2008 10:23 PM

I watched biggest loser tonight... I'M SO JEALOUS.... Some of them lost 14 lbs or more in a freaking week... A WEEK!!! I need me a personal trainer to kick my *** like that every day.

princess2323 12-08-2008 10:40 PM

no you dont girl---we can do that for you --and besides i looked it up and like half those people gain that weight back and then some-- its just not humanly possible to lose that kind of weight and keep it off in a manner that is safe without having what those people have---trainers-- doctors and all that just to make sure they dont suffer from workout/diet related illnesses--and like common---all they do is workout for hours and hours a day--- the show is great and the concept behind it is great ---but we live in the real world where we have to make a living and socialize with actual people not just live in the gym and work with our trainers like 4-5 hours a day

and besides you're doing freaking awesome---7lbs since joining here in nov. ??? thats amazing--- it took me like 3 months to lose the 10lbs i've lost since joining here in sept.

QTestRDH 12-08-2008 10:46 PM

Ace you're doing great!! And I totally agree with princess. I did atkins before and was working out like a nut, and yah I was skinny but I gained it all back REAL fast and then some. This is so much healthier. We are all changing our lifestyles slowly so it doesn't feel like so much of a diet. By the time we all get to maintenance I'm hoping we don't even really miss all the yummy food so much and everything is just habitual. And you're totally right 104lbs in one year is great!
