PB - I did the program about 6 weeks or so and did it by time. Then I got ambitious and ran a 3k which isn't very far and just about died lol. So now I am doing it by distance so that I am actually prepared for an event. Thats great that you are sooo close to your goal. Mine is pretty far off but I know I will get there. I just hope I make it prior to my husband and I expecting again lol. I would love to start out at a reasonable weight before I started packing baby lbs on lol.

We're both about 20 lbs from goal! so how am i so much closer than you?
Good point about the distance for sure. I would love love love to do a run of some sort once I get through this program and prove to myself that i can run at an impressive speed for longer than a minute.

I still have a few years before thinking about kids... basically we're waiting until either I a) hit 30 b) have a "pleasant surprise" or c) feel that biological clock a-tickin. There's lots of our friends that are having babies right now that we get to be aunt and uncle to. (5 this year)

I guess that is true about the 20 something lbs sometimes I forget to remember its obtainable lol feels like I make such little PROGRESS toward getting there lol. I had decided I didn't want kids then one day the clock started ticking. It was completely bizzare. I did a 180 and voila here we are. My husband is 34 so we joke that we would like to have kids before he is too old to take them to soccer practice... Oh look Matt's grandpa brought him to practice today awwwww jk.

Hey ladies! I just finished w4d2 (hahaha i also always feel like im talking in code) It went great... and by great I mean I did it!! (Great = completed to me when it comes to running because i suck so badly at it)

The cleanse thing is basically this... for two weeks, you can eat:
ANY green vegetable
chicken, fish, red meat, etc (animal protein - but this can't be seasoned, etc... just plain...)
egg whites (thank god I LOVE these)

basically I'm sure its like every other low-carb type deal, but i've never done one of those because I believe in just eating healthy all around and not cutting things out. But I was feeling so gross and complaining to my hairdresser two days ago so she told me about this. (She's a weightloss success story and a half) Basically you aren't getting sugar and your body will cleanse itself and shock your metabolism (which would be nice!). I need to eat a bunch of veggies anyway, and when I tell myself I'm on a "plan" for a certain amount of time, it helps me stick to it. The idea is that if I stick to it for two weeks, I know ill see some changes, and it will motivate me to stick to it!

p.s. stephanie and preppingbride...... all three of us have about 20 to lose! We should do it together! Do yall have some sort of date you want to have it GONE by???

Feb 14th. That would put me around 155 if i lose 2 lbs a week. (I just chose V day because it's easier to remember -- not because i'm a big mushbag)

150-155 seems like such a foreign number that it's almost like I'm writing my own little fantasy. I'm hoping that it solidifies and becomes more real over the next few weeks. It makes me think of my super gorgeous always-fit cousin who is 5'9" and 140 lbs. To think that I could potentially be only 10 lbs more than her is unheard of. When that happens, then I will put a picture up in front of me that i will look at every day to remind myself that i really DO look like that. lol

And i definately am up for doing this together! Even after we win TBL for the month.

And the cleanse seems like something you would really have to be gung ho for. Make sure you let us know how it is going. It's not too far off what i already do. Congrats on week 4!!!

WOW its crazy that you said your goal is Feb 14th... thats me and my man's 2 year anniversary (which DOES make me a total mushbag lol) and (this might be TMI) I was JUST in the shower thinking about how I would like to hit my 150 goal by that day and see what I can make happen after that and before spring break! (Meaning I would love to be down to 145 by March 6...) But my real goal is 150 (just don't tell my inner fat girl - she'll get lazy)

Sooooo 150 (for me) and 155 (for you) by February 14th it is? That would be about 20 for me! (I'm NOT getting on the scale today lol) If I get REALLY motivated and this is working, I might go for 145!

And we should definitely continue this past the end of this challenge!

oh and for those of you who REALLY want TMI....

TOM showed up today, #$^%$&*&*&$!!!!!!!

at least i'm not pregnant?? hopefully by monday the bloat will be gone! can't wait to see how many pounds we lose!

It's a sign. February 14th. Excellent Further to that, if I'm super motivated as well I'll go for the extra 5 lbs and hit 150 by March 6th with ya!

.... and who knows, i'm an inch shorter so maybe I can go below that? again, fantasy land. lol

Okay, so i grew the ballz! LOL Just to give you ladies an idea of what I'm working with here, this is a pic taken last year that's generally around the same weight i am now (+/- 3 lbs). Not much changed except my hair (now dark, straight, w/bangs) As you can see, it's the bottom half I'm working on.

Note: Steph, if you're able to take that pic out and host it on the site you use, that would actually be appreciated. Not a big fan of how accessible it is being an attachment at the moment.

Sorry to post and run but just have a minute or so to check in tonight. Ran wk3d3 of the c25k last night and swam my arse off tonight at the rec. Fat free cooking as usual with a little apple pie indulgence this evening. I have been spot on with my eating however and am expecting a loss come Monday. Scale is still at 142 dead even as of tonight after eating and swimming... Planning on starting wk4d1 tomorrow. Talk to you all Monday morning.

Oh, oh, oh ladies......I tell ya....I don't even know why I stay at my parent's house. The food there is NEVER ENDING...LITERALLY. Pooey. I'm too scared to even step on a scale today for fear of jumping off a cliff!!!! I just feel so bloated and well, FAT right now! Have not done a single exercise since Wed either. BAD BAD BAD BAD BAD BAD BAD.

I had such good intentions before going out there....and poof....all out the window once I got there. Why do I do that? W H Y????

Anyways...figured I would stop here for a little motivation to get on my treadmill tonight. I sure missed you guys!!!!!!

BTW - Stephanie, I didn't see the dancing picture??? Or did I miss it? And W T G PB for posting yours!!! What in the world were you afarid of?!?!?!!

My goal is also 20 pounds, but that was for Jan 17th, which is NEVER going to happen. I am just going to hope for 150 by then? CAN I DO IT?!?!?!?

girls!

OMG, you all have GOT to go see Twilight! Saw it last night, will definitely go see it again....and again.....and again! I feel like a kid, I love it!

Got in a 45 min walk today. :walk:

I have a sinking feeling that I won't be able to do 30DS. I tried the netflix copy and the library copy of 30DS on my dvd player and neither are working! And the cd driver on my computer is broken. Oh sweet baby jesus!

You can do it Jamie!

Morning ladies!!! Weigh in day! I'm feeling much better today...I was sure in a funk yesterday after the long weekend of EATING. BUT, BUT, BUT the scale said.....(drum roll please...)

160.6 this morning!!! Which somehow, someway, after a weekend of binging, it went down!!! I worked out like an absolute crazy person last night so maybe that had something to do with it???
