I went to the gym this morning after a really long slump of not exercising. I'm glad to be back in the game!

i am gonna bust my butt at aquafit tonight..the instructor who is a 60-something year old, extremely fit and energetic woman pushes us to our max...she's my role model!

I did not binge eat and then quit today when I saw that I had (gasp!) gained a pound. :( The Good Lord knows that I wanted to throw it all away this morning.

Thanks, you guys, for these positive thoughts! I could use some today....it's been nothing but chocolate, cookies and Chinese food today, and pizza all weekend, and as I shoved the last mini-cookie into my mouth I thought, "What am I doing to myself?!?!?"

So I guess my positive thought today is I'm proud of me for getting a glass of water instead of the can of pop I really, really wanted.

All of you are an absolute inspiration! :D I'm so happy this thread wasn't forgotten a day after it was started. ;)

I have a few positives (making up for not posting on weekend)
- I didn't gain weight over the weekend and have officially lost 2.4 lbs in the last week.
- I did incredibly well for lunch today considering it was at Frankie Tomatoes. Only a small little scoop of ice cream for dessert! and I heeped on the salad. (who on earth gets salad at buffets? really.) lol
- I'm looking forward to my workout tonight!

I have lost 17 pounds!!! And I know I can lose the 3 more in 10 days to reach my mini-goal. I am very proud of myself.

Me too! It's quickly becoming one of my favorite places to post, hehe. :D

One positive thing about me today is one of my all-time favorite positive things about me--my pretty blue eyes! I wore a shirt that really accentuated them today, and I just felt cute n' confident all day... It's always nice to have a feature that I always completely and truly love about myself, regardless of what my weight may be. ;)

My positive for the day is that I feel pretty darn good about myself. Did my nails last night after working out... feeling put together. :)

One positive thing about myself is that I'm making myself get back on track and stickin' to it now! The last week I've been working out less then normal and eating more then usual. Not good.

My positive today... well... I reallllly need to come up with one today has been one of those not-so-happy days already!

Let's see. My positive? This weekend I had a photoshoot with a family and it was probably my best session yet. I felt really proud of myself for accomplishing so much, and I noticed that on a typical shoot I would get worn out from all the walking/rolling around on the ground etc that I have to do (ha! who knew being a photographer was so physical?!) and this time I felt great and like I could have kept going. It was a good feeling, and I owe that new found energy to the 30 day shred.

I haven't bought munchy stuff at the supermarket, even though I really wanted to and had even already put it in my cart. But I put it back, thinking sternly "You're going to eat in 30 minutes, you're hungry now but it'll be over then! You don't need this! You want to lose!"

DRose 11-11-2008 01:30 PM

I actually dragged myself out of bed and am heading to my exercise class in just a minute, even though I stayed up til 2-3 studying.
