I can't believe it took me so long to get a tape measure!! I had to go out at 9:30 last night to get one or I never would have done it!
I don't know when we should give updates on measurements and weight. I know people who have done this thing religiously for 30 days and only lost 4 or 5 pounds. But they lost a lot of inches and were in much better shape then before they started. So I can't get discouraged! So I think a weigh in at the end of the 30 days would be good. I was thinking I would measure at the end too but maybe after every level. Whats your thought on this...
I'm doing good day 9 of level 1!!!
I am also going to keep doing the 30 Day Shred after the 30 days. Just not everyday. Probably mix it up with other cardio and switch levels throughout the week. Maybe add heavier weights.
Kritter: I got my tape measure today at last ! But decided to take measurements until TOM is gone, cause usually my stomach is bloated during this period.
It's a good idea to take measurements at the end of the month, and weigh in after each level, what do you think ? To be honest with you, I care more now about losing inches than weight. I know I will be gaining muscles and toning and that's what matters the most.
I see that we have almost the same starting weight, and that's great
For me, I didn't workout today as well, second day in TOM, I somehow just feel in pain during the first days and I hope I would be able to continue with the shred tomorrow.
Yeah I hear ya! I'm all about the inches and looking toned compared to skinny and waif like.
It does get easier the more you do the shred! The first couple of days were rough for me. I've always been an active person so I figured it would be not that difficult. Boy was I wrong. I was sore all over. But after the first 4-6 days straight it does get easier! I just keep looking at what I'm going to get out of this. Hopefully a leaner body!
I'm starting tomorrow! Y'all convinced me after that 37-ish page post about it. I'm excited. I picked up the DVD last night. Not quite at the BEGINNING of November, but hey, I got the news late :P I just joined this forum too, but I've been reading for a while. You ladies are all fabulous...a definite inspiration!!

We are glad we have convinced you to join us to this thred and get your shred. It's a great workout and we are sure we will see results at the end of the month. Just keep shredding and keep us updated everyday.
At first I was thinking "Hmm, I should get heavier weights, my arms don't feel like they are being worked at all..." at the end, as I'm typing this, my arms feel a bit like jello... hehe. I underestimated how hard even the EASY part would be!
I'm excited to continue this for the month and see where I get. I need to find my tape measure to take measurements! :P
Is everyone doing 10 days on each level? I had thought I read in the other thread some were doing 30 days per level.
On day three, the kids are watching Curious George then I get the tv! I am a bit sore today, but nothing I can't push through. Only 27 more days to go until I am a lean machine, right?!
DuchessPMS: Welcome to this thred. 27 days will go by so fast believe me, but we will sure be happy with the results
Kritter: Congratulations on finishing up level 1, now you should tell us tomorrow about how hard level 2 is. In my opinion, since you have 23 days left until the month ends, why don't you do 13 days for level 2 and the last 10 days for level 3, just a thought.
As for me, since I've missed 2 days already because I have my period, I will do 8 days for level 1, 10 days for both level 2 and 3.
