I walk everyday while TOM is here, walking helps cramps!

Default You're lucky...

A 7 lb swing in my weight is a common occurrence throughout the week for me, regardless of whether or not it's my TOM.

During TOM I usually see an increase of 12-15lbs, nothing fits but pajamas, and if I wiggle you can probably hear the water sloshing around.

It always goes away though, I think it's so dramatic because I don't eat salt so my body has trouble regulating the amount of fluid I retain.

I do find that if I push through and exercise during my TOM, I feel MUCH better. Although the weight gain is still there, I find that I don't *feel* so bloated if I exercise. It might be all mental, but I'll take what I can get!

I've also found that cramps are MUCH less intense if I exercise.

I will say that the week of my period is the hardest time to motivate myself though - I really do have to force myself to hit the gym on the days I feel crampy and icky.
