Cilantro's this very bitter herb often found in Mexican cooking. It's one of those things, you either really like it or absolutely loathe it. I'm in the latter category. Anyway, it's gotten quite popular in the mainstream of late, so you could probably find it in the fresh herbs at your grocery story.

Aw I hope you're feeling better today. You're usually so upbeat and I'm certain today is better already! I feel inspired to cook now... hmmm.

It's also called the chinese parsley. It looks more like parsley.

Spoz- Thanks I so appreciate that. I've done so soul searching it's been good but bringing up the true reasons why I want to lose weight.

Chil- I've always been the all or nothing girl too. But I'm learning that life is not all or nothing b/c if it was I'd never be happy. I have to give and take and allow myself to have bad days. I love that saying "even when you fall face first, you're still moving forward." That's like the story of my life!

I never found cilantro to be bitter at all, just bright and green. It's very common in salsa, and in Chinese chicken salads, if that brings the taste to mind. Maybe that's why some people hate it - they taste bitterness that others don't taste.
