I'm not sure... I'm hoping for 140-160, maybe as low as 130. It depends on how I look and feel!

I wonder if it will ever stop just amazing me how different we are in sizes at the same height. Years ago when I was in really good shape, I was in a size 8 at 130 pounds, moving into a size 10 by about 137 pounds. I think I'd have to be 125 and less to be comfortably in a size 6.

My goal is somewhere inbetween 130 and 140. I think. I was 150 when I got married 2 years ago and still had a ways to go. Since I graduated highschool, the lowest I've been is 145 and, while close, was still bigger than I'd like to be. I was 130-135ish in highschool and was a good size, though I needed to be more toned in the ab arena. (Not sure if that will ever happen- gosh darned scoliosis squished my torso all together). So, somewhere betweeon 130 and 140 and toned would be great.

A few lbs over my weight range, 130 - it is an even 50 from where I started. When I was 124 I was lifting and working out pretty hard core as a fitness instructor and was a very solid person. So I am thinking to get close to that now would be nice, knowing I won't be all muscle like that.

My goal weight is 115 lbs because I was that weight about 4 years ago, and I adored it. I actually got down to 105 lbs at one point, but I think that was TOO skinny. So I'll see how I feel at 115 and gauge it from there.

My goal weight is still high. Right now my goal is to just hit onederland.
My mini goal is/will be onederland as well (when I'm old enough around here to have a signature!).
My next mini goal will be in the 160's, which I need to hit to be "overweight" and no longer "obese".
THEN my next is 145 - my 100 pound goal. By BMI, I'd still be overweight for another 15 pounds, but at 145, I plan to seriously reevaluate everything and strive more to lose inches/gain muscle than lose pounds.

I think it has to do with how weight is distributed...when I told my pilates instructor I wanted to lose 30 pounds she freaked out because she guessed I weighed 140 when I was 170, my weight is just everywhere, which is good and bad at the same time haha...but yeah, that is quite fascinating :D

My first goal is 165-- which is still technically 'overweight'-- but I'd be 'normal' weight if I was 162. I think once I hit 165, I will re-evaluate. Right now, I am at 175, and I think I am starting to look much better (not to mention I feel A LOT better). Its funny, prior to hitting 175, I knew I was making progress, but its only been within the past week or so that I think I look better.

Also, this is really the first time that I have lost the weight with a sensible diet and exercise plan-- so I know that I'm gaining muscle and toning things down and re-shaping my body-- so I think for me, at my current 175, I look better than I did at 175 in my past, if that makes any sense. So, maybe at 165 I'll be happy there, and not want to lose another 5 lbs. I do know that below 160 won't be right for me-- I'd say I have a medium to large frame, and I look curvey but slim at 165, and at 160, in my opinion, skinny. But everyone has a different perception of what is skinny. I like having curves and boobs.

At my absolute thinnest-- post college, I was 127 and a size 4 to 6, and honestly, I looked awful. I looked like a stick with huge boobs. It wasn't a good look for me. And I was eating one meal a day. Totally unhealthy and freakish.

I just want to be 21% body fat and able to run and just BE healthy. I would love to be in a size 8-10. I'm not too worried about the weight more so about the body fat %. I want to see a lean fit confident girl in the mirror!

I am 5'9 and I picked 160lbs for my goal. I am 24 and the lowest weight I remember ever being is 180 when I was 14 thanks to marching band. I wasn't very toned (except for my legs) but I remember sitting down for the first time ever one day and realizing "oh my god! my stomach did not roll!" so I imagine a toned 160 would be damn hot, but I am open to 170 or 165 if need be. I imagine there will always be re-evaluation along the way. I have a pretty large frame and I'm pretty even all around.

Thin4Good 07-23-2008 11:53 PM

The smallest I have been since I was fully grown is 155 - When I look at pics of me then I can't imagine being smaller. I think I look great. (I wore an 8/10) - That weight still puts me into the "overweight" range for my height though and 150 is just into the normal range so I think that is a reasonable goal. Being toned is important to me too though so if I get anywhere near that and I finally feel comfortable with myself and happy with where I am I will change my goal to suit it. - I look pretty hot at 165 so I personally feel I will be more challenged with those last 15 lbs than anything.

When I first started at 215lb my goal was 190lb because I could not imagine being any smaller than that (I gained weight evenly over my body and thought I would be a beanpole in the 180s.) But when I realized that that is still a size 14 for me I set my goal to 160 and/or a size 10.

Now I'm a 10/12 depending and am fairly happy at 170 so my goal is probably mid 160s and happy.

leighish 07-25-2008 11:33 PM

I think initially I'm shooting for 180 because it's lower than I ever recall being, but also because of my height and larger build I'm unsure how I would look if I got any smaller than that. I think it would still technically classify me as overweight on a BMI scale but lets face it, that thing isn't always accurate.

Raemie 07-26-2008 02:27 PM

My goal is 125lbs, ive always thought that 9st would be ideal and so my goal is one pound less to make it an even 30 lbs from my starting weight. But its not set in stone, my mini goal is 10st and i may be satisfied with that altogether.
