I get horrible cravings for fried food, but luckily I don't gain weight leading up to my TOM. In fact, I lose anywhere from 2-4 pounds that week. Before I started this week I was 163...I'm down to 160 today. It may go back up a pound, though. But it's been this way since I started working out.

I tend to gain a pound or two a few days before and shed it during/after TOM. OR, if I've been really good, I'll maintain through it and then drop a pound or two pretty quickly after. I always feel super bloated but (knock on wood) I don't tend to have terrible cravings.

I TOTALLY hear you though, on the fatigue and lack of motivation right before. Last Friday I was on the treadmill and had barely made it past a mile and was sweaty and winded and so ready to stop (I usually run at least 2.5). I couldn't figure out why. Hours later, I had my answer! And really, it's a good idea not to push it the first day of TOM, since you tend to be losing a lot of iron and other nutrients.
