Default Horrible 2 days off plan, just complaining

Binge... Kind of.
So, I have had 2 horrible off plan days. I don't knwo how far i exceeded my calorie limit (whch is jsut, under 2000 a day, very rough estimating), but I didnt get in but 2 miles of a run, I slept a ton, and I just feel horrible and off plan. Gah. I think I did it because i had been having all kinds of NSVs, went in to weigh myself, and was up FIVE blinking lbs in ONE day.
I hate this....

Hi Emily:

I'm sorry to hear about your totally sucky days. It is ok to have bad days -- just make the best decisions you can within those parameters. You still went running -- yay! -- and you know that the food choices you made weren't the best, so you are still moving forward and are still thinking On Plan, which is good! You will survive

Ugh...I just got off one of those days. I know it feels awful but the best thing to do is really just start again right away. You'll feel better and you'll feel like you took control of the situation. That was a big thing for me. I didn't eat a ton of calories (around 500) but the way I did it totally felt like a binge and taking control of that is important IMO.

Once I came home for spring break and drank a fair bit and ate not so great and I came back to school thinking I'd gained 4lbs. The next day I was down 1.5 from bloat and salt alone and then I got my period. It's scary seeing it on the scale (especially when it feels like you've pretty much destroyed all the progress you made) but it isn't as bad as you think. Try not to freak out about it. I'm also very obsessive. I weigh myself everyday (which is bad, I know but I can't help it...).

Don't stress too much. It'll get better soon!

Ugh...

Those 5 lbs were not necessarily a gain, btw. There are a lot of reasons our bodies "gain" weight. But... those two off plan days didn't really help much did they? You know this. Put it behind you. The only way to get to where you want to be is to get back up on the horse and continue on!
