I always listen to my mp3 player while I walk. I have a pretty diverse taste in music, from pop to rock to folk to classic rock. I'll list a few of my faves to listen to that keep me moving...

"Portions for Foxes" - Rilo Kiley
"Love Song" - Sara Bareilles
"Such Great Heights" - The Postal Service
"Bleed American" - Jimmy Eat World
"See You" - Saves the Day
"If I Told You This Was Killing Me, Would You Stop?" - The Juliana Theory
"Change" - Tracy Chapman
"Dancing in the Moonlight" - Van Morrison

Alright, I won't go on and on. Just a sample-- let me know if you like any of them!

As far as tv shows (on my ipod video), I like short, mindless things like old Friends episodes where I can easily pay attention.

Here's my most recent workout playlist:
If I Leave This World Alive- Flogging Molly
The Pretender- Foo Fighters
Sexyback, Love Stoned, etc... - Justin Timberlake
Starlight, Invincible- Muse
Try Again- Aliyah
Umbrella- Rhianna
Bartender- DMB
It's Bad You Know- R.L. Burnside

cool down song- "Cold" Annie Lennox

Oh! Rilo Kiley, so adorable, MissChris. I'm obsessed with "Glendora."

Workout pump-me-up music?

"We Used to be Friends" by the Dandy Warhols
"Put Your Hands Up For Detroit" by Fedde Le Grande
"San Fransisco" by the Global DJs
"Man Eater" by Nelly Furtado
"Chelsea Dagger" by the Fratellis
"California Dreaming-Remix" by Benny Benassi (It's a pumped up version of the old song)
"Intuition" by Jewel

I love that song, I totally forgot about it (and Dandy Warhols) until I started watching Veronica Mars recently. Kristen Bell is about my height, so it gives me tons of motivation, because I would love to look like her.

Lately, I've been listening to the new Brittney Spears too - and the Timbaland album during my workouts.

Have you ever seen The Last 10 pound Bootcamp? I dont know if they play it anywhere other than Canada and I dont know where you live. I find that any time I watch that show I want to eat more healthily and go out for a run! It's really motivating.

I always thought I had to listen to music while working out, but since my mp3 player died (and I have yet to buy one) i've been surviving.

However, before it broke. I listened to lots of classic rock, thrash metal, heavy metal, black metal, some hip hop and R&B, mainly things that get my blood pumping and GOING going going!!! Any Iron Maiden, Old Metallica or Megadeth can pretty much get me pumped. Although, I have to struggle not to sing along while I'm working out for fear of making the other people in the gym believe something isn't quite right with me, lol.

Oh, yea, Janet Jackson's new song has a great beat as well. I play it at home, I only wish I could play it while I work out.

Jelbb, the last 10 pounds bootcamp is on slice. It's awesome. I also love the show x-weighted, also on slice. I try to catch them whenever I'm at the gym.

I looove Me First and the Gimme Gimmes. Lately I've fallen more in love with them because they are SO easy to work out to. All of their songs are covers but in a lot of cases, they're way faster covers. Their songs aren't too long either so I try to speed up with the beat and then slow down for a song and then speed up with next song and so on. Usually I listen to them and watch whatever is on the TV at the gym (usually court shows).
