Post hot hot hot

Well, I'm very excited. I have a gym membership, which I'm going to start using, and come march, my friend and i are going to start biking every other day. I'm in Red Deer, so we're gonna bike around town and then ina couple months, we're gonna bike to a small town... Haven't decided which one. Need to build up a bit of muscle, and maybe lose a few lbs before we go outside of red deer. lol Otherwise, I'd never make it... Maybe down the street. haha. I think I'll start biking to work and home too, rather than taking the bus.

I hope I'll be somewhat ready for swimsuit season! Wow, I haven't said the word "swimsuit" ina very very long time! It's exciting, and something that makes me veeeeeeeeery happy to work towards!!!

WTG on the workout plans! I hear cycling is one of the best cardio exercises you can do, and if you're doing it outside it's also very rewarding because it's so much nicer to see the outside than the inside of a gym I hope you are successful, be sure to tell us about it!!

canadiangirl6 - my boyfriend's sister lives in Red Deer! Isn't there snow there? Or do you bike in snow? Even in snowstorms people are on their bikes here (but I think they are insane...I keep my biking to the non-snow months).

I havent ridden a bike since i was 12 lol but I think its a really good idea. I may hop on the wagon. My brother has a bike I can use. Lets hope the phrase "its as easy as riding a bike" is really true lol.

Yay, Alberta! I used to live in Calgary.
That's badass that you guys are getting your act together and getting on the exercise!
I HATED exercise, but I found that when I went everyday for a while, I suddenly CRAVED going! I'm always incredibly happy to hear about people who have newly made resolves to change, so.. yay!!! Welcome to the group.

Yes, what Jelbb said...at first it can be odd to exercise...you're out of practice! But once you get started on a regular basis? You really will crave it.
