Default Rewards

When you reach a goal weight, what do you reward yourself with?

I'm going to the Foo Fighter's concert on Feb 25th so that's why my goal is the 25th. I've been wanted to get my hair cut and dyed for a while now, but I'm holding off so that that can be my reward if I lose these 20 first lbs.

ya know, i REALLY need to set some goals and rewards. i have goals but i haven't really thought about a reward for them. i mean, you really can't go out and buy new clothes after 20lbs. so i need to come up with something.

Funny you should ask! Just a few minutes ago, I decided that I needed new motivation, so I tired to sit down and write out a list of rewards for when I hit certain goal weights. I know that when I reach my ultimate goal, I am taking another trip out to Vegas...but I'm having trouble coming up with rewards for other goals. I'm trying to make them luxury items/events that I don't usually do for myself (you know, like a coach bag, a $70 bottle of perfume, and so on)...I need things to drive myself.

I don't really make goals because the thought of losing weight and being healthy is enough for me, personally. But here are some ideas:
- bubble bath with music, candles, and a book
- pedicure/manicure
- massage
- picnic with boyfriend/girlfriend
- mini road trip with friends
- laser tag with friends
- go to zoo or museum
- try a new restaurant
- buy a bag or accessory from that store you've always wanted to go into
- have movie night with boyfriend/girlfriend/friends - you get to pick the movies and meal, they cook you dinner
- buy some cute makeup
- try a new coffee shop
- buy some gourmet coffee, tea, wine, etc and have a tasting party
- have a board game party with friends (or just party in general)
- go to a cool dance club that you've never been to

Hope one of those sparks an interest!

NaturalStupidit-I am SO jealous that you're going to see the Foo Fighters!!! I just looked at the tour dates and they aren't going to be anywhere near me! I'm trying to convince my husband to take a trip to Arizona in early March (they'll be in Glendale). That would be the closest to us. It's not looking good, though. You're SO lucky!! Have a great time!

As far as rewards, I'm going to have a massage once I get under 200 lbs. I love facials, massage, mani's and pedi's, so any of those would be a great rewards for me.

In the months where money may be tight, my reward will be a little trip to Sephora, for an eyeliner or lipstick.

Cassie-I think you and I were in Vegas at the same time. My husband and I had so much fun, we decided to make it an annual Christmas gift to ourselves!

Yeah, my boyfriend is the one who "opened my eyes" to the Foo Fighters. He told me about them coming to town a couple months ago. He got me tickets as a Christmas present. According to him, I need to go to a "non-stupid" concert once in my life. The only one's I've ever been to were Nsync (when I was younger) and then Hanson (I won tickets/meet and greet passes for their show in early December). So this should be an experience! hehe

PurdueGal: Those are some great small ideas...I like the bubble bath one. I don't ever take time for myself like that and I've been thinking about buying some candles and setting my bathroom up like a spa. Now, I have a reward for myself once I get down to 200! Thanks!
