Default My first Challenge

This will be the first time I am actually doing something like this. It's kind of exciting! My goal will be to do at least 30 minutes of exercise daily. Here we go!

1: Took the dogs for a walk-30 minutes
2:Missed it
3:Went sailing! What an upper body workout that was- 2 hrs
4:Walked to the park with the dogs and walked around the mall- 2 hrs

My goal is to attempt at least 30 minutes of moderate/intense activity each day so 900 minutes this month!

Default November Fitness Challenge

I've been slaking off last month and need to get back on track. My goal for this month is 900 minutes - 45 mins a day 5 days a week.

Week 1:
04th: none
05th: 50 minutes walk (2.55 miles)
06th: none - but got new running shoes =)
07th: none
08th: um..none
09th: nothing
10th: nada
Total minutes: 50/225 Completed. -1.1 lbs lost.

Week 2: I'm planning my exercise for this week since last week didn't go so well.
11th: had to sit a test for 4 hours, was too tired when I got home =(
12th: 50 minutes walk (2.55 miles)
13th: 30 minutes elliptical trainer (2.17 miles) + 10 minutes upper body strenght workout
14th: 30 minutes treadmill (1.23 miles) + 15 minutes elliptical (1.36 miles)
15th: rest
16th: 30 minutes elliptical trainer (2.73 miles) + 10 minutes upper body strength workout
17th: none - but did a lot of cleaning, does that count?
Total minutes: 175/225 Completed. -2.1 lbs lost!

Week 3:
18th: none - first day of tom, cramps! =(
19th: 30 mins elliptical (3.29 miles) + 10 mins upper body strength workout.
20th: none - went and got my nails done and got a facial treatment =D
21th: 30 minutes elliptical (2.79 miles) - my knee really hurt =(
22th: none - away from home
23th: none - away from home
24th: none - away from home
Total minutes: 70/225 Completed. -0.22 lbs lost.

Week 4: - last week of November so I'm giving it my all. I'm starting a new strength training program this week too.
25th: 20 mins elliptical (1.86 miles) + 60 minutes weight training (ouch!)

Total minutes: 80/225 Completed.

My November goal is to complete weeks 1-4 of Slim in 6 (876 mins). every 2 weeks the number of minutes increases (25 mins/day Weeks 1 & 2, 48 mins/day weeks 3 & 4, 60 mins/day weeks 5 & 6). There are bonus videos that I may add in on day 7 along with some yoga - but I'm not putting them in my goals. So here we go:

I'm going to start Couch to 5K tomorrow with the aid of the podcasts. Am really quite excited about becoming a runner Along with my gym ball workouts I am going to hit 500 minutes for what is left of this month.
