Invited to a Halloween party tonight.....didn't go, though I really wanted to. I didn't want to be the fat girl who couldn't find a cute costume....

Amber, you're such a skinny minnie! You look SOOOOOO cute!

I think the coolest item I've ever been was a roll of LIFESAVERS candy. I had this foil-like pants to go with it either.

I'm not crazy about gender specific costumes on myself, but I like being items of FOOD. I know, sounds strange, but I just love being different! People would look at me and say, "what? You're a MARSHMALLOW?/ LOBSTER?/ SUSHI ROLL?"

Well I am wearing a skinny chick costume whether I am one or NOT lol. I am tired of putting life on hold over a few measly pounds. Who says big girls can't dress skanky every now and then?

Plus, it is a costume party with close friends and I mean...Geeez. They all know I am fat whether I am fully clothed or not.

This is the costume I bought. It should be in Monday. My Costume

I plan on wearing some white leggings underneath (not those knee highs) with some black heels. If I can keep up my nerve, that is LOL.

My fiance is going to b the big bad wolf hehe.

I havent dressed up since school, and had no intention of dressing up this year, however I agreed to participate in the first annual (figures) department costume contest As the department coordinator, I'm sort of obligated!

It just so happens that Halloween is falling on the same day as our on site flu chot clinic. I am the clinic coordinator, which means I sign everyone in, and stay in the room while the shots are being given. So even though it's kinda lame on it's own, I am dressing as a Doctor. White lab coat, huge cartoon syringe, stethoscope, dress pants, bun in my hair, name tag, black rim glasses, and a clip board, though that's actually necessary for the real clinic I thought I may get some laughs with the silly syringe.

I'm going out at night and I'm thinking of just sexing up the Dr. look a bit - losing my bun, losing some clothes under the labcoat ....and probably losing the GIANT syringe And maybe some red lipstick
