Has anyone tried the new SoyJoy bars? They sound interesting, a bit on the pricey side though, $1.29 each. There website is soyjoy.com

I posted a thread the other day about these -- if you go to their website, they are giving away free samples. However, the intellingent, well informed people on this site let me know they contain a lot of sugar and butter -- I had already sent away for the 3 free, so I'll see when they get here. At least if they are free and I don't like them, I haven't wasted anything.

as far as meal replacement/energy bars go, i REALLY like cliff bars. and ive tried every bar known to man..except these soyjoy.

but yea. cliff bars. not a lot of sugar, and not a lot of butter. theyre very dense. not much fat in them either.

I like Clif bars also, they are great. And so many flavors. But they are full of carbs and calories. Too much, unless you're using them straight for energy before an intense workout...

they were giving them out free at the MS Walk that i did this past weekend. i tried a bite of the mango one. it was decent, but not all that. i stopped after that bite because i knew i would eat the whole thing and it wasn't worth it.

i use cliff bars as a meal replacement. theyre 250-350 calories per bar, and thats good for a meal replacement.

I haven't tried soyjoy bars. I eat FiberOne bars, very tastey, low in calories and not too bad on a sugar, but LOTS of fiber! They taste like a treat but I don't feel guilty about them. Plus all that fiber helps to keep me full after the snack
