Hi all! Yay it's Thursday, which means it's almost the weekend!! But I'm a little worried because it's St. Paddy's Day on Saturday... and everyone wants me to come out and drink. At least I can use the excuse that I'm broke to not buy drinks I just really am not feelin' it this year... I am trying really hard to use my time better, exercise more, not consume empty calories (hello, alcohol), and I just thing an all-day boozefest is not at all what I want right now lol. Hopefully I can get away with just making an appearance and not actually going out!

Hi Everyone,

I'm so happy it's Thursday! Seems like you are all doing well. My boss is driving me crazy but she's going on vacation for a week starting tomorrow. I'm counting down. It's so much less stressful with her away.

On my front, my friends are now not coming until next week which means I have the whole weekend to stick to the plan and work out! I was really not liking the idea of drinking and eating out all week cause I enjoy seeing the scale drop weekly. I'm so excited to get to my goal weight. When I work out, I close my eyes and picture myself in my bikini. I can't wait.

That's the unfortunate part about trying to stick perfectly to the plan. It's hard when friends come in town or big events come up. As much fun as they may be...

So the up parts and the down parts of my week:

Success! = I passed on a (get this) mandatory italian buffet at an event last night. My best friend and boyfriend and I got a table instead. And I only ate about 1/ 4 of what I was brought. And then I split a peice of chocolate cake. However: I did not have alcohol, or an appetizer, or the bread, and I split the cake.

Not so very successful: Girls night out (happens once/month it was last Tuesday): 2 martini's later I ate an ahi tuna appetizer, two peices of bread, a main course with some white rice (AHHHHH) and about four spoonfuls of a chocolate dessert.

Today I've stayed on track, but my tummy feels positively bloated, constipated and icky. I know it's from all the sugar, but I hate it still.
I'm going dancing tonight. Luckily I'm super good at drinking only water at this place. I'm a regular and they have it ready for me - Im' going to shake my booty tonight and try to burn a few extra calories!

It's the social stuff that kills me. At home I'm an absolute angel because I only buy things that are healthy for me!

I think I'm going back to charting all my calories though, just to get a better overview in general.

Unfortunately, I have to work all weekend.

I'm staying OP today... except my plan includes Wendy's for lunch! I give myself one off-plan meal per week as part of my plan... so does that count as being on plan? LOL

Hi everyone,

I hope you are doing well. Congrats to those who are staying on plan!

I just had a lean cuisine for lunch and I swear they are useless. I meant to bring extra veggies to add but I forgot so it really didnt seem to fill me up at all. I'm starving. I think the sauce has too much sugar or something. Hopefully having a V8 in a bit will help. I started using the FitDay site to track my calories and activity and I've become addicted to it. For some reason my site is down right now and I can't enter my lunch! Anyway, only a few more hours left at work.

I saw Phantom of the Opera last night live and it was quite good. It's fun to go to things like that. Beats television.

Weighed this morning, and I haven't gained & I haven't lost any weight. For the female health problems that I have been going through, and are STILL going through..that's pretty good I guess. Gonna call the DR in a bit, and make an appointment. Something is definately wrong. =/

Brooke, I'm so sorry to hear you're still having issues in that department. I know how worrying it can be. Just get yourself to the dr. as soon as you can.

BikiniDreader, I always found microwaveable meals didn't fill me up at all, and it probably is because of all the garbage in them!

I am staying OP today and NOT going out! Too much temptation lol... Went to the gym today too... Hoping tomorrow after my weigh in I will be able to report a loss *crossed fingers* Although I hope TOM won't screw me over :/

okay so today is the first day of a challenge that i am issuing to myself: no frozen meals for a week. i hope i can make it- they are so easy when you live alone and hate leftovers.

The pain got so bad tonight that I ended up going to the ER, but I didn't stay. The pain stopped being so bad, and I decided that I didn't want to have another huge medical bill that I can only pay on a little bit at a time. I decided to just call my regular doctor tomorrow & make an appointment. I am still having the same problems I was before. I need to find out what the matter is, take care of it, and get back on the road to a healthier me. Hope you all are doing well.
