Lightbulb FitDay.

So, I downloaded the program, and it's alright so far. I just need to explore it a bit to understand how to use it more. Hopefully having it, first off..that I will use it..and also that it will help in my weight loss journey. Does anyone else have this program?

I was using the free version of FitDay, and I loved it. I have, however, since moved on to CalorieKing. They give you only a 7 day trial before you have to buy. Why did I move on if I loved FitDay so much? FitDay mostly only had American items on it, and was missing a lot of the Canadian made foods that I eat. But I think it will definitely help you in your weightloss journey, it did mine!

I am Canadian too and I love Fitday (I have the downloaded paid for version) but I haven't tried anything else to compare. My biggest recommendation is to customize your foods whenever you can. It's a lot of work at first but I find that soon enough I end up eating alot of the same foods so it takes less time to track. I've come across a couple of instances (ie: parmesan cheese) that I felt Fitday undercalculated the calories, etc. Customizing illiminates this problem.

I have the downloaded paid version also, and will be recieving a CD in the mail soon also. Any recommendations on how to start other than filling in your current weight, goal weight, and those sorts of things?

I've been using the free version, and just like Cubb I've noticed some calorie calculating issues. Also, I've noticed that there are some foods that you simply can't find. But I'm still happy with it, it's nice to have it all stored on the computer. The pie chart seems a little skimpy though.
