Ally- that treadmill sounds fun, I had a cheap one that the track was really narrow so it was hard to run on without stepping on my own feet. When is your b-day?
Peanut- HUGS!! Do you take anything for the CFS? Bass- we all do it, just make it the exception not the rule. Southern- sorry about the back problems, does the weight loss seem to help? I know it did for me, I thought my back pain was from lugging around a baby in a baby carrier, my mom so kindly suggested that maybe it was my own weight... and she was right... grrr I hate when that happens. Kim- I'm glad it seems to be going well for you!!! That casserole sounds great! Do you have the recipe? Does have one have a good recipe they would like to share? I'm calorie counting so I'm always looking for actually meal recipes, instead of just sandwich, salad, or chicken breast. Me- I'm in nursing school for those that asked. I've got 2 days left on 30 day shred (that will have taken me about 40), I'm just glad I did it, I definitly recomend it, it's tough but do able with the modifications. I've been doing that and c25k. So next week, I'll be trying out some new videos on exercise tv for my strength training for now. Went out to dinner last night, got the chicken lite plate- chargrilled chicken breast, broccoli and fruit, and a banana nut muffin (I only ate 1/2 of the muffin plus a few bites of other desserts at the table and 2 crackers with a tiny bit of tuna dip grrrr) it's the bites I can't resist that kill me! but I count (most) of them. I've got a meeting at my 5 y/o school, then I'm taking him lunch- Mcdonalds, run and 30ds, plus some other errands. |
so in the middle of my TOM i weighed in at 194.. now at the end of TOM... im up to 197!! UHG.. I wasn't planning on going to the gym today since I work 11-8, but I have to go.. I'm gonna be sooo good these next 3-4 days for Sunday weigh in!

ellie6388~ I have a gazillion recipes! Let me know what kind of main ingredients your looking to use (chicken, beef, pasta, etc.) and if you like spicy or not and I'll look some up on eTools and throw some together from my WW recipe books as well. What's your plan for food at McDonalds?
AllyBride2011~ Great job getting yourself out of the house when you realized you were eating a lil more then usual. JessicaRT~ I always have a lil gain right after TOM ends and then it "whooshes" away, so don't get too worried about it I'm super tired today after spending most of the night up with my little dog who got fixed yesterday. I knew he was a wimp before this, but geezome, he gives the word a whole new meaning. Whining, whining, whining! I'm hoping he feels a lot better tonight as I'm planning on going to a Zumba class early tomorrow morning... and if I don't sleep tonight... that plan will probably fall through. UGH. I'm looking forward to some quality time on the treadmill after school today! |
Ellie6388 – Thanks. I just take a few mineral/vitamin supplements at the moment but am due back at my specialist next week so I’ll see what he has to say. My main focus has been on my diet. It was the CFS diagnosis that gave me the kick in the butt to change my lifestyle.
KimL1214 – How’s the puppy going today? Hopefully he’s had a bit of an improvement. Did you make it to Zumba? I didn’t end up making it to work at all this week so I’m hoping that it doesn’t have too much of an impact on the scale. Does anyone have anything exciting on for the weekend?? |
Morning!
Kim- thanks for the offer, I like everything, I'm not very picky. I can handle spicy, it makes it easier to eat less. I just took DS Mcdonalds, he eats at 10:45 so I barely had time to go to my meeting, run to the gym and get his lunch, I just got a a diet coke. But their fruit and yogurt parfait w/o granola is only 130 cals. Took Mom and DS to school this morning (she teaches at his school), so it's just me and the baby at home. I've got to finish 30 day shred today, go to target, work on the football themed table and chairs I'm painting for DS. Weekend we have a big seafood festival this weekend here, the boys Dad is coming over and we're taking them, probably tonight. (we've been separated for about 6 months and we're starting to kind of work on things lately- who knows if it will actually work out, but atleast we're trying one last time) I need to run tomorrow, and the boys got invited to a beach bday party Saturday afternoon. and at some point I need to clean the house. |

bbg200~ I hope things are turning around!
ellie6388~ I've put a couple recipes on below, couple of my WW faves! oOPeanutOo~ Rocky is doing much better! Unfortunately I didn't make it to Zumba this morning as I was still TOO tired when I got up this morn. Just heading to my sisters for the weekend... Super frustrated with my sister right now as she "forgot" to mention that the fundraiser bake sale was postponed to next weekend... AFTER... I baked for 3 hours. So now I have 3 pans of lemon bars and 3 pans of raspberry bars... Since I'm still heading to my sisters for the weekend (since I took it off for the fundraiser anyways and it turns out my nephew has a football game tomorrow night), I'm taking 2 pans of each to them and leaving the other ones with my parents who are camping this weekend in the brandy new trailer camper (used, but new to them!). I may end up eating one or two, but at least this way I'm not eating one or two PANS. I posted my weight today as I'm not sure if I will be coming back Sunday night or Monday morning, and I was psyched to see a new number this morning even after skipping my workout yesterday (to bake I might add... My sis and are definitely gonna have a chat about that tonight). Everyone have an awesome weekend!!! Bacon-Cheeseburger Meatloaf (WW points 7/serving, 6 servings, Serving = 1 Slice) 2 Large egg whites 1/3 cup ketchup 2 tbsp. Mustard 1tsp. Well.. I've been super proud of myself going to the gym on a workday!!! I NEVER DO THAT!!! Today I went to the gym from 8:30-10 and then worked 11-8 Needless to say im pooped.... I thought I wouldn't be able to make it through the day at work but surprisingly I felt great!! I WAS EVEN IN A GOOD MOOD!
but we came out with a new "salad" at work.. its apples, whipped cream and snickers!! it's supposed to tasted like a carmel apple.. it's really yummy! and I had a small bit with my lunch today... |
Jess- WTG on the gym! That "salad" sounds GOOD!!!
Kim- thanks for the recipes! Went to the festival last night- it was okay, we had chic fil a before, and I shouldn't have eaten the fries, as soon as we got there my tummy was hurting, I could have gotten a fruit cup (70 cals) or splurged on a yogurt with cookie topping (240) but I had the stupid fries! I also had some funnel cake, which I new I would, no alcohol though! I ended the day at 2,000 cals, which is over my 1400 limit but way better than I would have done a few months ago. We're headed to a Kid's Day that Boys and Girls Club puts on for the community, not really sure what they will have but it's free! and lunch is free! then we have a b-day party, I'm sure I will indulge in some cake (it's my favorite and it's one thing I actually miss!) so all in all it's going to be an off plan weekend again but I can handle it. I'm hoping to get a run in between kid's day and the party, when the kids are napping, so maybe that will offset some of my badness ;) |
applause, hugs, and :coffee2: to all!
I also am fighting some serious frustration - just everything. I'm going to just try and roll with the punches and keep on. My son turns 12 tomorrow- when did i get so old? |
 everyone!
Just popping in. down another lb this week. Legs and feet hurt from all the walking I'm doing! Peace! :grouphug: |

|
I woke up this morning to another 3 lb loss! Yay! :carrot: That brings my week total up to 6 lbs! Normally I see the Whoosh on Monday but it must have wanted to come off a day early this week. I hope that means that next week wont be a total bust. Oh well if it is... I am just happy for the loss this week :D I hope this week has been awesome for you all as well!!
|
i celebrated my friends 21st b day last night.. with alcohol and dancing.. i weighed in at 196 which makes for no loss or gain.. I just came off my TOM so I'm hoping that's part of it.. It's a new week.. and a fresh start.. my goal is to be down 2 pounds this week
