I see what you mean. Without a monitor it's hard to say. There's hardly any difference between the calories burned in a 15 minute low impact aerobic session and a 15 minute sessions of either of these. Since it's such a small number difference I like to error on the low side! I burn approx 83 calories in 15 min with low impact aerobics.
- Calisthenics (e.g. push-ups, pull-ups, sit-ups), heavy, vigorous effort-I burn 72 cal/15 min
- Weight lifting (free weight, nautilus, or universal-type), power lifting or body building, vigorous effort-I burn 103 cal/15min
Play around with it. Maybe someone who has that exact dvd and logs it will have an exact answer for you. Sounds like a great workout!
