I've done pretty good for myself, I lost 25 lbs last month but I only have one more month before I go on a major international trip and I have clothes that are still tight that I bought specifically for the trip.
So I am stepping it up. I did 35 minutes on my elliptical tonight along with some upper body strength training.
I have also been feeling a bit lax with my food although I am still following my overall plan, I have been stretching it a bit into those "rarely" items but making them not so rare.
I just wanted to post because I need to make a commitment to myself and others that I am going to push myself and do the best I can. I also am not setting up any unreachable goal but I am aiming to get under 200 by the time I go on my trip.
Part of it was following 3 weeks out of 4 where I was on business trips eating out and I was up 10 lbs when I came back. It was horrid and I knew I needed to do something. I switched to a vegan, whole foods diet and the weight started disappearing.
Hi Nelie, I know you can do it. Look how far you've come!! I need to recommit to staying on plan better than I'm doing. I need a fun international trip with new clothes like yours to use as incentive!
What a great adventure! I was having trouble picturing where you would actually stay while you were there! I didn't think there were Best Westerns or Howard Johnsons in Antarctica, but admittedly, there's an awful lot I don't know! The cruise ship makes more sense.
