Just had my weigh-in... I lost 5 pounds. Yiipppeeee! I don't expect to lose any more than 4 to 5 pounds a MONTH after this first week. But it's nice to have a good start.
And now I get to change my stats on my signature line... hooray!
Well, the little scale only moved .5, but at least it was in the right direction (down). So this is my 1st official weigh in for the new year. I'm working toward my first smiley face!

I don't officially weigh in until Monday..But i have dropped six pds so far...I am on the Richard SImmons diet and it seems to be working for me..Take care friends may we all be big losers...Your new friend...Sherry
It's not as much fun posting when it's a gain!! I weighed in this morning up 1.1 pounds. (boo!!) I knew I was going to gain since I have been out of control for a week and a half. I decided enough was enough and it was finally time to face the music. Honestly I was relieved secretly thinking I had gained a ton. So anyway I am back on track again in pursuit of more pounds gone.
And hey congrats to all the "losers" this week!! Karen, Nasus, M'chelle, Kath, and Amata!! Remember "only" .5 a pound is equal to two sticks of butter off your bod!

I started the new year at 299 (after gaining all I had lost last year plus 2lbs ) and now I am down to 284!

well, I weighed in and have lost weight. This morning makes it 41 pounds gone!
congrats needles! I know how hard it is on you when you lose then gain it back. I have done it in the past and it stinks! You have lost a lot really quick! keep it up!
I guess I lost 2 lbs. this week. Forgive me for being a little bummed... but I bought a new scale last weekend, and I weighed myself on it a lot Saturday, Sunday, and Monday ... to make sure I felt comfortable with it - that it was accurate. On Monday, I was down to 251.5. Today I am up to 254.5. So although I may have lost 2 lbs. this week, I thought I was going to lose 5. Still, I am happy I did lose. I have finished my 8th week, and my cravings are killing me. I really miss pizza.
