didnt go to the gym, but I did walk around the neighbourhood for the same amount of time I would have walked on the treadmill at the gym...so thats still good.

food...great all day until about 9pm....tonight I'll go to bed earlier to keep the night munchie monster away!!!

First day trying this out, so my goal is, not to mess up too badly until I get the hang of it. Right now I have a slight headache, and feel some what off balance. I was asked to go on Atkins by my Dr. but I dont have alot of info other than the book. I find it rather hard to read, size of font and actual non-interesting info that I know I need to know.
I wish there were Coles notes for Atkins dieting.

Welcome Cealy! Make sure you drink water and eat every 2-3 hours, that should help with the dizzy feelings. Post often here any questions you have, there will be alot of help offered-no question is too weird! Read other posts in this forum, there is a wealth of info here. Best of luck!
Yesterday was good for me til about 11:30 PM. My husband wanted me to cut a fresh pineapple when he got home. I love it and had some too. Fruit is a big downfall for me. I'd never eat a brownie but watermelon, pineapple, cantalope and strawberries do me in. I haven't noticed a gain from fruit, but do notice if I eat much of it my weight stays the same. Hence, the reason these last 3 lbs. won't leave.
Yesterday I didn't get the WATP in. But I was walking back and forth for about an hour (or longer) getting stuff organised, etc. So got a little exercise.
Todays (Thursday) goal:
1. Water
2. OP (w/strawberries possible)
3. Attempt to get 1 mile WATP in.
Hello all!!! I'd say that since the little one is 8.5 months old now...I can't use the I just had a baby excuse any longer.
I'm restarted a modified induction today. I'm still breastfeeding, but she started eating baby food and table food about 4 weeks ago. So, NO MORE EXCUSES. (Not to mention I have to go to my husbands class reunion in august!)
Today's goals:
1. Successfully have an atkins only day.
2. Do some form of exercise other that chasing my children.
3. Manage to get all 80 ounces of water down NO MATTER WHAT!
(4. Try to remember how to change my ticker after all this time!)
