I am Jenaya and I don't know if we have met before. Your message resonated with me because I also have had some health scares related to weight. The beauty of all of this is it is not too late - you are already making some positive changes and you CAN do this. You are worth it....worth loving enough to make good and positive choices for your body. This group is so warm and encouraging and everyone is behind you. Take good care of you! The medical tests and consults are scary but they are reality of what the future will hold if we don't take care of ourselves now. You can reverse some of the health problems with your good choices. I had my blood drawn for my fasting glucose test and got another script for a diuretic. Next step is an ekg next week to see if anything is going on with my heart.

I don't wanna be preachy, just helpful, so I apologize if this comes out wrong - but it's so true what they say first G-d gives you a little nudge and then a not so little nudge and then a big old rap on the head to kinda wake you up. Me thinks you've just been given a little (not so little?) nudge, and now is the time to nip it in the bud, cause you don't want that big old rap on the head. But this is just great, great news.
