I just got a new job working for an insurance company. They were looking to hire several people so they did alot of group interviews. Both of my interviews I was the heaviest in the groups. I still got the job.

THis is an old thread, but I just wanted to follow up and see if you got the job. I'm also a recent grad looking for a job and this issue has worried me a lot. In the end, I don't know if it's influenced decisions or what. However, I maintain that my suit is pretty snappy.

Sounds like you did a great job !! If it is meant to be, it will happen....as far as the interviewer being overweight, try to keep in mind that half or more Americans are overweight...therefore most people you interview with either are overweight or have someone VERY close to them that is...in the end, I think as a rule it is becoming less and less of the deciding factor...I teach high school students and if they can come to accept me for who I am and like me the way I am...LORD KNOWS...any adult can !! LOL
