Good to hear from you! I was fat before I met my husband, who is also fat. I too, gained a lot of weight in a short time, trying to match him! We are both foodys as well, and the best part of this journey has been realizing we can still love the healthier food we eat!

Welcome!! and congrats on the loss so far -- the tough part may be when hubby gets back, but if you are both working on it together, it makes it so much easier!

Welcome to the board!

I've gained 30 lbs since getting married (I was overweight already when I got married). I just had a baby and managed to not gain a lot of weight with her. I 'm approaching 30 (next year) and like you, I want to enter that decade as a much healthier me. I know what you mean about being overweight and pregnant. It's hard on the body. I want to lose at least 50 lbs before getting pregnant again.

I'm glad you found us

to you!

I too gained weight after I married, and I was already obese before that.

Cograts on your loss to date. I hope you stick around. This is a great place.

I also started my plan when my hubby (a beefcake too) left to work out of town for 3-4 months last year. I lost 40 pounds while he was gone..it was quite a shocker when he came home
Somehow.... I haven't lost any more since he's been home and had a bit of a backslide, but I'm back on plan now and looking forward

You will love it here...it's just wonderful, and CONGRATULATIONS on the 20 pounds to date...that's a great accomplishment
