Thanks everyone. I took a new picture and no, this is not my room - it is my daughter Katy's. I showed this picture to a friend and their only comment was "cute bunny" LOL
I would just like to say WOW, that is awesome.... It is something that few can say they did. Question for you... How did you stay motivated during the rough weeks when you didn't lose as much as you wanted?
I visited your web link and one of my weight loss related project was also to realize that there ain’t no mountain high enough…..My objective was to hike up Mt Washington; highest peak in northeast America.
Goal was achieved on sept. 11 2004, on my fourth attempt.
Good luck on your Long’s Peak project, and expect very emotional moments when you reach the summit!!
A thousand times "WOW" - as I've said earlier, if you can do that . . . I can do what I need to. I'm about to put on my walking shoes and go get some more fat off these bones!!!!
Wow Frenchie and Charles. Your hiking goals are awesome. Mine is not so grand but it is a hiking goal and it will be very special to me. I have not been able to walk any distance over 50 to 100 feet in the past 12 years. Kimberley and I used to go to this trail all the time, we would take the rim trail which is 200 feet high and over looks a beautiful gorge trail. My goal is to be able to hike it again. Here is the link. You both inspire me to make my own goals keep up the good work.
Things can evolve pretty fast as your physical condtion is improving. When i first started hiking, 500ft . Mont-Royal summit in Montreal was a big challenge. Now i am able to measure up to 6000+feet summits.
